I had a couple of days rest when my taxi was in the workshop for repairs after being hit by a drunk driver. So during this time I had to take taxis for about 4 days. So about 15-16 trips on taxis, out of these I met 3 TD who told me they waiting for letter to "gantong" their driving license or TVL. I am surprised by the percentage I come across in these 4 days. Now I noticed that there are more and more speed traps and bus lane traps, this is cause TP now pass this responsibilities to LTA and LTA hires so many "enforcement officers" to do the bookings. The enforcement officers only need to know how to ride motorbike can already so they hired them by hundreds as low cost officers. No wonder so many TD losing their rice bowl. Oh, I think speed traps under TP still. So how TD u know has had their TDVL gantonged?
And this LTA are mostly young malaysians, they are given quotas, and for all these malaysian, their easy target is taxis, some local LTA officers I talk to, they said, if it is a taxis, we give them some chances, but not too much, if still do not want to move, or repeat it, then they will book the TD.
I was once caught by a TP at jalan Boon Lay for swerving along the road in zig zag at a above normal road speed, it was a local malay TP, I ask for chance, and he seeing me as TD and also on call, told me, ok, they just take the record, one more time appear inside computer, that is it.
So I think as the saying goes, most at expressway get caught are vans, pick up, containers, lorry and TD, very less pte luxury cars.
I agree that most are VL drivers. Pte cars on road about 5-10% of what TD and VL drivers spend on the road. So TD and VL drivers have 10-20 more times the chances of being booked for an offence. It is sad as I was sitting in one of the taxi whose TDVL will be taken away, he was telling me that there is no other job he can do and how is he going to support his family. There is one TD who told me he accumulated 24 pts in one month!!! How fast one can loose his means of making a living! He told he has been driving for 3 yrs. how to find a job that can make $2k per month.
No leh ..... i still got 24 points leh .... for many years liao .
Maybe i think myself as turtle driver , that's why .

Not only less attention, but also anything happen, still got room to move right and left, those at the outer one, sure to hit the barriers, that is why some went into the opposite lanes during an accident..
Just like PIE, i saw many accidents at the curve before toa payoh, and the curve after eunos flyover, the outer vehicle usually at high speed, curved too much into the centre lane, hit the centre lane vehicle, than in panic, quickly swerve out but end up hitting the divider barriers, go turtle or rotate 360 degrees.
So, we need to be careful along these curves

agree, curves in the express way is the hidden danger when speeding
we do not see what is going on after the curves, and when we see it....... it almost too late.
Got once, after midnite, speeding at about 120km/hr, nearly bang onto a plant pruning lorry, which stop about 100m after the curve......... from then, my lan par strink
Lucky you..trees pruning is a pain in the ass

Last friday night think kena LTA sting. Come out onto north bridge road from southbank at 1130. Coasting in 2nd left lane to stop at traffic light. Guy flag but no stop, hit traffic light his buddy stand middle of bus lane take 2 photo of my cab. Very hesistant to stop as he stood just in front of bus stop. So look like prepare go LTA drink kopi.
