Govt Paid Child Care Leave For Self Employed

  This is probably old news to some. Anyway for those parents(Self Employed) who are not sure you are actually entitled to this claims.

  From what i know many self employed doesnt know and have never claim before.

  So all Tds here pls note as you are considered as self employed.

  You are allowed to claim up to 3 working days per work year as long as your child is below 7 years old on or after 31 October 2008.

  As to how to claim?

  Just log in to your CPF account using your singpass.

  Go to "My Request" that is located at the left side of the screen.

  Click on "Self Employed Matters" and than Govt-paid Childcare Leave(Self Employed)

  And you can proceed to submit your claims.

  As to how much govt is paying will be based on your iras income declaration the previous year.

  Takes abt 2 working weeks for the money to be credited to your bank account.

  Take note now can claim up to  2 days of govt paid child care leave for those with children from 7 up to 12 years old from 31st may 2013

  Mine 18, 21 and 24 wu bo?? one at JC, one at U, one in army going ord later go advance study somemore..knn, never think I casket driver married a factory operator wife can produce such childrens, and still got time to joke and come here post

  Bro, this is something myself aspiring to do,,, to send kids to JC/Uni,,, it is no easy task for us TDs and I really salute you... but with yr Bowahism,,, not surprised yr kids are doing so well. I say no easy task is cos there's really no level playing field under the current education system with so much dependence on tuition.. My kids told me almost all other classmates hv tuition + other enrichment classes.. when I meet their teachers during PTM, they themselves suggest to hv tution to do well...When my kids enquire at tuition centres, they ask wat school/JC from? If same as their tutors,,, they don take... Many teachers are moonlightling at tuition centres or one to one tuition. Its such a lucrative business...but this prob is not only in SGP lah... So I say if TDs can send kids to Uni, its an achievement to be proud of.
