I can say 95% of people not so free to whack company just because can't get taxi.........only the rest with unbalance emotion than will do such things............
And traditionally, people still call 6552 1111..........Apps is just a toy, don't need to be so serious............

auto booking is never a liability of taxi companies, it is only an apps provided and licenced by the companies for paxs usage, however, companies still collect the levy..this is call automation.
Taxi Cos gain, because they do not need to do the admin or operator cost.
And once auto booking got no show or cannot locate the pax, you call the taxi operator, they will tell you it is an auto booking you took, so we do not know who is the pax, you have to call him or her yourself. But then taxi company still take the levy without paying a single staff salary.
Now you see the power of auto booking and the business gain

It not abt wacking.
Its abt double or triple booking using adroid and iphone apps that even pax are not aware of due to 3G network and data problem.
Plus cancelling a cab after booking is also one big flaw
And now more paxs are using this apps during peak period to book a cab instead of calling, cos calling 65521111 can be frustrating at time...putting you on hold for 10min and telling you there is no cab....
At Zoo the other day with family...knn Q super long...almost everyone on the Q also trying to booking a cab online.
So you can imagine how overload CDG server is.
Same theory on this forum mah....why some members here always double post...cos internet lagging or this forum server is lagging.

Ya in fact thanks to ericgo, that was exactly what i wanted to write about but forgot. The same reason you get double posts is the same reason for this booking problem.
I doubt CDG will actually bother to correct this or even warn, because it doesn't cost them. Better still if 1 of the 3 drivers instead of waiting for no show, just on and off the meter, booking fee still goes in.
This is just to warn drivers, it could also happen to other companies. Take calls with a large pinch of salt, don't steam one when calls come, study the location and circumstances, better still if you reallyw ant - call the caller to confirm (altho not my style to call callers)

If driving CDG taxi, cannot tarhan no show or pax cancellation, than nothing really can help you...........no matter what company going to upgrade or better the system, you will still look for fault to rant with..........
TD who drove CDG knew that, the number of calls are just too many, sometime, you really wish that the MDT don't blink at all.........lol
My style..........don't easily get angry by something that don't influence your income, simple and effective.............

Correct, in fact, not only calls cancellation or no shows, on the road, also be happy, cool and steady, all these cut here and there will never end one, no use cursing and get one boil up.
Take all these as part and parcel of a TD, there are hazards in every jobs, taxi driving is no different, but of course, since we are in it, we tends to talk about our difficulties and suffering, but to those who had given up their corporate or public or civil jobs to drive Taxis, should reflect back on your initial stage of wanting to be a TD, that can help to cool one down and drive more happily.
