Thanks brother.Raining, if too heavily, of course everything come to stand still, even with your wipers at top speed also cannot see clearly, then of course taxi drivers will play safe, go home or park oneside to wait for the rain to subside.
Usually raining, pax board my cab in angry mode, cursing why no taxis, why take so long, all I can say is, human nature, rain= more paxs, less cabs

huat si mi, to me .. raining no good.. hard to take pax, difficult to drive, hard to brake, if the pax shoe muddy, zzzzzzzzzz..heavy rain good for most jobs on the road.. except taxi uncles..

Before i become a TD, i always think TD earns more when raining.
Why? Because raining, ppl will lazy to take public transport and more ppl wil take taxi...
BUT the FACT is.
Once it start to rain heavily, road become more heavy, traffic is very slow, more accident happen.
Is not we TD wanna play hide and seek, is traffic condition is way too bad to drive, the usual 15mins drive become 30-45mins drive.the income also reduce by 50%.not to mention if accident to the taxi, bye bye to $2k+ in our bank account.

The best time to rain..........12pm-4pm...........the heavier the better........lol

One thing no good for TD during raining day is that pax alway insist to send them to a sheltered location, knn, especially HDB, sometime have to go into car park or find the shelter for them.
For those who takes call, raining days sure to have more calls, but most are cheapo calls, and then, have to find the them inside some shelter here and there, and because most use to take bus and MRT, but because of raining changed to taxis, sure to demand here and there, not the usual taxis pax.

Dun know why some drivers refuse to on lights when visibilty is so poor.
