hi bro , newbie here. thinkinf of collecting a wish 1.8 cng from transcab tomolo.
heard many ppl dun wan cng , what is the actual reason, and any way of coming down on the deposit ? they wanted 1.5k , they say at best 1k . my friend offer them 500 they will take and go too . my friend paid 1k for brand new epica .
i also want to ask anyone can provide in details n contact nos , daily rental with no contracr and low deposit where to get , searching for days, no avail .

Now CNG cost something like $1.68 per kg , TransCab members got 7% discount i think .....
$1.68kg of cng something like around $1.40 per litre .
Slightly more than diesels and less than petrol , in between .
1.8L can run between 180km and 220km , depends of heng suay .
2.0L can run up to some recorded 309km , sometimes 230km can start crying liao , like baby crying for milk , hahahah
In TransCab , not all cng pump the same in Toh Tuck .... some pumps performed maximum pressure .
CNG is very safe ....... only recently one China made CNG bus on fire , that's all due to bad maintenance .

Toyota Wish 1.8
Daily Rental with GST: $94.16 ~ $99.51 (Depending on age of vehicle)
Rebate: $665 (OMO) $605 (hirer with relief)
Rebate Breakdown:
If driver don;t owe any rental and no service offences:
Performance incentive :
$250 ( If never owe )
$160 ( if owe 1 day and less than 4 days)
$100 ( If owe 5 days and less than 8 days)
Road Tax rebate : $15
Good Performance Incentive :
$400 (If never owe rental more than 5 days)
$200 (If owe more then 5days but less then 7 days)
So total $665 if never owe rent and never give problem.
Credited into your bank account on the 10th of every month, unless 10th falls on Sunday or Public Holiday then will be credited next working day. Cannot miss rental for one calendar month. Meaning if you start on 15th June, you will not get incentive on 10th July, only after whole July you don't miss rental payment.
Depending on which day 10th falls on, usually they minus of that day rental and credit balance into your bank. As example, rental $94.16 and10th December was on Monday, usually Monday night will deduct Sunday + Monday Rental, but since incentive day they offset from rental. So Sunday+Monday rental won't deduct but they credit $665 - (94.16x2) = $476.68 into your bank.
If pay rental by GIRO will deduct at night, some say 8pm but i notice mine 11pm then deduct. On the folder the give they state please bank in rental before 9pm daily and before 8pm end of the month.

Mileage for 1.8 Wish depends on condition on car. Generally 220km-250km must top up liao. But yesterday i manage to clock 310km still got one light left on CNG indicator. For the 310km i paid $30.02 CNG. But i don't think other Wish 1.8 can get that mileage, my wish full overhaul before, gearbox overhaul, ECU remapped, all 5 tyre including spare new, and just recently change drive shaft and full servicing. Normally before all that i can only manage 230km.
Security Deposit : $1500, you can deposit $1000 first if you don't have enough and deposit another $500 more anytime, but if you don't pay the $500 before your first incentive rebate, they deduct $500 from your incentive so $665-$500=$165.
On paper it state can deposit $300/$500/$1000/$1500 but the girl only say $1500.
If we follow paper if u deposit

When going to TC to sign up things u need:
$1000~$1500 for deposit
$32.10 admin fee
$32.10 Windscreen Insurance
$10 CNG card
If want to pay rental by giro bring your ATM card
If want cashless machine in your cab i think need pay, but i forgot how much..
Bring extra $ for petrol + CNG, normally both tank empty or near empty my advise pump $30 petrol then run on petrol to Toh Guan sign up for CNG card, top up CNG card $20~$30, then pump CNG, after pump go wash at CNG station $3.50, if want ask them vacuum and Dettol your cab, i forgot how much.
I think $500 can't but u can try, i initially wanted deposit $500, but the girl told me min $1000.
First day collect vehicle rental free, so drive around familiarise yourself with vehicle.
Oh if u just past TVDL, bring your TVDL course receipt i think they will reimburse course fee after several months.. Bring passport size recent photo for you your pass.
Most likely when look at vehicle they will refer you to Mr. Toh, if can look at the log card of vehicle, see got any serious prob with the vehicle u want.
Ask Toh how to login MDT, how to switch between CNG/Petrol, etc.. U can always later ask other TD and Toh Guan CNG, or search around in this forum,

i still cant arrive at any conclusion as yet . some say good some say no good.
guess i just have to omo to try ut out to have the verdict .
any recommended timings bros here can suggest for a new omo like me , plus i not familiar with west side at all, like mountain turtle

besides toh tuck, still got mandai and sgn north leh.. though expensive, but still cheaper than petrol.. but dun purposely go pump gas lah, not worthwhile.. nowadays, i also use petrol if cng runs out, though it cost more like 20 cts per km run.. -
