Given that they wanted more cabs to be on the road at least 75% with a 250km requirement, this may put pressure on the taxis companies if not their admin side will have to do more job to present the datas to LTA.

Therefore in counteracting, companies might had told LTA that unless they prolong the peak period, they cannot guarantee the minimum requirement of cab on the road

with sky high coes, taxi suddenly look n sound cheap.. for those who given up driving only.. not for those bmw ppl who r force to take taxi..

not all bmw are rich peoples, some are spending on tomorrow earn money, at any time, with $500, you can drive out a BMW, there are many peoples in Singapore living on loans and credit, times up, loan from there, paid there, and so on. Taxis now got their own COEs, which is peg to open market, however, the volume of purchase is important, why cdg, new and old, can let go sonatas at a cheaper rate is also because of it volume of order, just when you buy in bulk, it will be cheaper.

all the recent policies are to takan smaller taxi co like smart prime one la. wat mileage requiremt, Gps bkg system. .la etc. in the end force to merge or drop out.the big boys call the shots and takan drivers.. and tks to big mouth 7k driver, alot Q up to be takan.. Don need to increase surcharge this that cos in thr end $ will go back to the co..
