hi all bros, been driving for a few days . have a very important and urgent issue to discuss with u guys . here is my scenario . currently driving tc 2.0 wish , find that cng fuel consumption is not so good . its about $0.135 based on 23 kg of cng at toh tuck which averages about 260km.
i intend to drive till end jan and stop, thus no rebates this month . maybe next month also dun have cos might just stop before 31st jan . so my rental as omo is $100 a day .
i was thinking of getting a crown at $60+ dollars , with disel costing about $0.085. its about $0.05 savings per km . so if one day average 300km , its $15 savings plus the $30+ savings . its about less $50 expenses a day .
my only worries is that ppl are sceptical about the crown , avoiding it even at a flag down fare of $3. . what do u guys suggest i do if i intend to drive till next month end and clocking average 300-350km a day ?
thinking of going office to do the change to a crown , if cannot make it . switch back to 1.8 wish instead of the 2.0 ? Kindly pls advise .
was thinking of getting gps and radio set ,
got it both sorted out by downloading google maps and installing meradio {mediacrop radio } u can actually listen to radio using speaker as well as use the maps at the same time , the map comes with audio directions, prompting u to turn as and when very good to use for newbies for temporarily measures .

Si mi lan chiao taxi ...... must kia wu nia , fuel consumption not important one .
One might paid $20 for diesel , salary only $60 a day .
I prefer to pay $35 diesel , and get $120 per day salary .
Which u prefer ?
Of course when u use more mileage , u pay more for CNG .

TS do you know Crown press meter only $3 ?
10 trips difference is $4 .

I always tell newbies this story when giving example between a crown and a wish or Sonata .
One Crown , same from Jurong East Ave 1 Parc Oasis Condo , kena pax to Airport .
Same block , another Wish also kena pax to AP .
Both Crown and Wish departed for AP at the same time .
One start flag $3 , Wish start flag $3.40 .
Wish fast car , Was at BKE already ..... Crown only lagging behind at Bukit Timah Palza .
Wish at Toa Payoh ....... Crown maybe only at Eng Neo .
Pulled apart liao .
Wish at Eunos , maybe Crown just touch Kallang Way .
Wish at Simei liao ..... Crown maybe just touch Bedok reservoir road .
Wish touch down AP T2 ....... Crown just pass Changi South .
One trip Crown took 7 minutes more .....
20 trips ? A cool 140 minutes behind , 2 hours of lost income .
That will be a cool $50 minimum income differences .......
Why ?
Cos Crown too dangerous to drive fast !!!!!

Wish done 20 trips , still can relax relax .... body not so painful .
Crown 20 trips ? Left leg pain , neck pain , shoulder pain ....... less income for so much pains .

By the way , which company offer the Crown for $60+ a day ?

If u cannot tahan 2.0 Wish of average 260km , what makes u think u can tahan 1.8cc which has got only max 220km ?

My last advice ......
Throw that Wish away asap .
Start training yourself ...from scratch , be a relief first .
Find a partner near home , do half shift before even thinking of becoming an OMO .
every job need 3 month probations , taxi driving more or less same , or they wouldn't come out with such idea of 3 months probations .

omo with a manual vehicle?
save some rental and fuel but may have to spend on glucosamine for your knee joint. -

one must ever learn that we got many tds driving various model for different companies not every taxi give the same return. a particular model may gave some tds higher earning but may not for other tds. haven't even sat the seat warm and already started to think for another model remember, your decision could be , out of the frying pan into the fire

base on your timing weekdays 14hrs driving weekend 17hrs driving with a crown , soon you get leg cramp

your timing for weekday also wrong 12pm-2am you are not going to get the maxi of it ever read any thread and posting about omo driving? maybe it times you go look at it and make some adjustment i guess the way you drive is also a reason that your cng run out fast, maybe nothing wrong with the vehicle itself

Just sweep ... forget about si mi booking , si mi CBD , no need ! Just sweep once people flag !
Then remember : If near West side ..... once CNG left 1-2 lights , straight away go refill , then just sweep again .... sweep sweep and sweep .
if cannot see open got pax , u must stop , by all means , take first , worry later .
use petrol ......CNG later then say .
U'll never know , next flagging pax hop in : " Uncle , Toh Guan Road ."

I drive Wish time ....
Start work 3pm .... 7.30pm , CNG left 2-3 lights .
Instead of staying in town , my direction is moving , towards West side .
I will go by Bukit Timah Road , PIE Jurong , then CNG station .
By 8pm , i should be in town again ( if no pax on the way )
Toh Tuck to town 10 minutes only via AYE .
If in between got pax flagging , i of course will take , take the fare and use it on petrol if there is a need .
