Got pax la, must know where to go and when. My God, I decided to have a sleep in yesterday, wake up 11pm then watch football, knn 1.30am go out, thinking where to find pax, in the end, all okay one. Managed to cover rent and diesel plus some left over for 4d, marketing and breakfast and close shop at 5.30am.
Last few nights also the same, got pax, not the usual many but got, just have to be patient and find them.
Don't know why some monkeys speeding up and down, cutting here and there, as if the world gonna end.

as said earlier..nowadays hv pax one lah..but wat location...diff location timing can hv long long q...wat about midyear..or econ down etc.. positive posts can maybe > huat huat threads.. -

sory hv to repeat broadcast..i not saying cannot find pax..i already said, for me after casinos open biz quite gd in years after.. wat im saying here is there's too much publicity abt tds having easy life..arrogant choosy..earn too much.. that co..auth..paxs all want to tekan us n don see our difficulties..n our bad times..our risks ahead tats wat this thread all about to open their eyes...

when pax no need cab, u see plenty of green light cabs (but they will pick up or not is another story, see other thread) -
fairprice no need q lah.. i nightshift go there when nobody timing.. .. q taxi stand also seldom.. only when wan relax...n i patient type.. the thing is the media is now is all no cab no cab..so need a balance picture ma..but if tds also think that way then nothing to say lor..if they think their parang velly sharp.. sharper than co then no need say co this n that lor..

Wahaha.... finally someone started a thread on this topic..... I also a bit DL people complain no taxi... Of course lah, u wait at Ion Orchard taxi stand at peak period of course no taxi lah, turn ur head around and see Wisma taxi stand, sure got taxi there one. $3 also not willing to pay, then dun take taxi lah.
Last Wed, taxi everywhere no pax, did 2 trips, went home, throw rental. only made 35 pts FOR THE WHOLE FARKING DAY. I got camera in car, but no battery liao.... These few weeks, will take photos and make into youtube video. So proof that there are simply just too many taxis OTR.

Should have free booking call service. It is good for passengers and taxi drivers.
The taxi company will have a queue for the taxi drivers and passengers will call the taxi company whenever and where-ever they need taxi services.
All passengers must open an account with the taxi companies and deposit a fixed amount of money in it. Any non show by the passengers will incur a penalty charge to be deducted from the account to compensate the taxi drivers.
The cost of providing of the booking call service should be borne by the taxi companies to which the taxi companies would have included / recovered in the fare paid by the passengers and rental paid by the taxi drivers.

tks for the constructive inputs..shows some ppl do actually read this thread in DETAIL b4 commentg.. . We all know taxi availability is such an erratic thing in sgp..affected by so many variables..weather..jams..mrt breakdowns..ha ha...you name it..+ Erp thats not smart enough to take into ac such variables n become a variable itself in affectg supply of taxis in cbd n other areas..tats why i think a simple high flat fare is not going to solve the prob..

last night dropped off pax at Hard Rock hotel upper lobby...was proceedg towards Festive Hotel when a tourist run after me to bring him to the Rws basement ts to pickup his family..on reachg basement I was surprised to see such a long Q of pax waitg for taxis..i tot for free bus..lol..so even the $3 loc surcharge not able to solve prob... . 2b continued..

.. Some time ago somebody started a free app for booking taxis ( Tan Kin Lian?). Think his ppl distributed flyers at AP taxi Q to Tds. Also saw his letter in ST forum.. .but there’s no news after that? May hv eventually fizzled out. In addition, among his proposals include free booking of cabs with a low admin fee… (don criticise first ar..) but the booking system allow live bidding by Tds for the jobs,, macham COE bidding style,,, So a Job after midnight may attract many bidders and the lowest price/nearest gets it (end up maybe $0). For a Job in jam areas, some Tds with manual gear, veh easy breakdown type,, may bid high price while others with new auto gear may not mind bidding very low especially if the destination is attractive for that timing.. The pax then confirms if wan to accept the price b4 TD proceed and there’s a cancellation fee for no shows.. I was thinking with this system supply/demand curves can meet almost perfectly at the fairest price for both Paxs and TDs…But is the technology affordable/available to make system work? The proposer thinks yes , if not now ..then in not too distant future,,, But I’m concerned the Tourists may not be able to use this system..wat with the high roaming charges.. n how to collect cancellation fee from them? Still with this, a major segment of customer base is catered to,, the Qs for pax n Tds will be much shorter. . Other forumers with more info on above may wish to give more inputs/comments and correct me if I’m wrong..tks -
