Mistakes TDs Make-Just for Laf !

Any members wan to share any silly/funny incidents..mistakes u made ?? . My most memorable one was driving to AP joining taxi Q....with a pax onboard!! ha ha.. tat time omo and after long hours sleepy liao... took pax to AP.. pax doze off.. blur blur forgot hv pax onboard when reached near AP look at signboards straight joined T1 Q. later realised hv pax n he woke up also... apologised many times ..slowly manuver out (lucky only 2 lane Q)...than pax also laf and say can claim one..

Mistaking KPE exit for Fort road when the tunnel was newly opened , came out to PIE - paya lebar - guillemard back to tg rhu.
wasnt anything funny , got a very very chow bin pax nnk to me .
i gave quite abit of discount to pacify him.
this one dunno to laugh or cry

Angmo from orchard to T3.Upon reaching he said First-Class.(I my mind i was thinking got First-Class meh?)Pax was busy chatting in the phone and i slowly drive along the glass door looking for First-Class sign.Until i reached the last glass door, i told him don't have First-Class only have Business Class.Then he ask me to make a U-turn and he lead me to the First-Class Door and give me tips.I so piesay, hahaha..

Once at Geylang pax wanna go Bendemeer Road and Jurong West St 42 two stops . Midnight .
I actually kay kiang turn right from Geylang Road via Sim's Way exit PIE , thinking PIE can exit Bendemeer ....
Once exit , alamak toh liao ..... only see CTE .
Immediately one of them scream , wrong !
Lan lan lor .... stop meter gave Bendemeer's pax free ride ...CTE exit Balestier ( Kallang ) , left to Upper Serangoon , U-turn Whampoa South Road and alight her proceed to Jurong West .

Once a Saturday .... similiar to BCL's case .
CCK Cresent , Indonesian family wanna go Indoor Stadium see Winnie The Pooh show .
Swee lor ... KJE , BKE , PIE .
Exit KPE tunnel ....
Happy only , think can exit Nicholl Highway .
Nabeyz that time KPE tunnel quite new .
First time , but still quite sak buay sek . Half cooked .
"Eh , nabey , why never see Nicholl ? "
Think think only , saw ECP exit , siow liao .
Explain to pax blunders .
Stop meter liao at Tanjong Katong Road .
Go by Mountbatten Road .
Also not too bad , still got $20+ ....
The Lesson is valuable .
PIE to Fort Road , Indr Stadium , Tg Rju , cannot use KPE tunnel , must exit Sim's Way .
Yup learn the hard way ..... got "fined" by myself to learn .

One also took place around KPE .
That time KPE Sim's way tunnel into PIE AP haven't started .
I got a pax at at Geylang also , want to go Bedok reservoir Road .
I also turn right into Sim's way .... that lead me all the way up to PIE Jurong .
end up i have to U t-turn at Toa Payoh Lor 6 .
Lan lan lor , stop meter .

Ya this KNN KPE also give me a lot of problem.
1st case similar to pool....Take from Geylang pax want to go Moonstone Lane. Thought can exit Bendemeer then go PIE up liao then suddenly realise the mistake when I see the Bendemeer exit below me. Then lan lan exit CTE(City) then pax watch in horror when they see us passing the Mei Zhen Xiang BBQ pork row of shophouses below us. The 3 ATB scream at me, "sifu....our place is below leh...how?" I tell them, "Sifu now stop meter swee bo? New highway lah not familar." Once stop meter the nnk stops. Lol
2nd case took ah neh from Jurong Point neh says Lok Yang but he pronounce Loyang. Never verify with him cos I thought HOR SEH LIAO. AM peak 7++ kanna durian drop. Then neh go koon. When reach Loyang wake him up ask him where he want to go. He blur blur until he saw the TPK temple then ask me where are we. I tell him Loyang loh. He ask me where is Loyang? I point to him aeroplane on the sky says near Changi AP loh....He nearly faint then KPKB. Lan lan send him back to Lok Yang haha. NNK along the way says he late for work liao lah....I tell him if NNK din stop I charge him the full fare hor. Then he went back to koon....Whole morning peak chui....

my first ever mistake - my first trip ever amk to bedok north st 4 - 27 bucks and this way back in the 90s. The pax when boarded my cab call me towkay, after paying this, she really must think i towkay - hahaha.
this 1 not midnight and those day where got surcharge one?

I don't know if this really funny or not, but both pax and me laughed.
Picked up 2 pax along Palmer Rd, early December, just beside M hotel. A young guy and a older lady. Look local, so thought they just finish work at M hotel maybe colleagues.
Pax: .... North. (The first word can't hear clearly, cos door still open when he said)
Me: Bedok North?
Pax: ah, yah.
So i drive, go Nicoll Highway, PIE, exit Bedok North. All the while pax talking. Don't want to interrupt them so i drive slowly along Bedok North waiting for them tell me where to turn.
Then nearing Bedok Police Station, they stop talking a while. I ask the guy.
Me: Which block you going to?
Pax: We going Golden North? (English not so good)
Me: (Thinking where the hell Golden North sia!)
Me: Golden Mile ah?
Pax: Ya, ya, Golden Mile..
Me: Why never say when i go in highway, that i'm going wrong place? (Still thinking they local)
Pax: We don't know, just come Singapore today. We from Penang ah...
Me: Golden Mile very near your Hotel.. Hahah
Pax: (Both also laughing) Yah the Bell boy also say nearby. See how come u drive like so far.
Me: Cos i heard i thought say Bedok North.
So drive back to Golden Mile, end trip fare $29+ picked them up just before midnight around 1145pm, so plus $3 City Surcharge, 25% surcharge and also a bit midnight surcharge.
Told pax $25, only ah, since we went big round, actually thought want to give lesser but mouth say $25. Pax gave $30 ask me keep change.

When the new tunnel open i think will be more confusing. If u exit KPE (ECP Changi/City) can see the tunnel right of City exit.
During course they say will be open somewhere 2013, think linking AYE, direct to KPE or something like that.
Will be called MCE (Marina Costal Expressway)

Thks bro,, looks like the new kpe/mce/aye link is longer distance then the current kpe/ecp/aye connection.. One question regardg kpe... if we go fm pasir ris via tpe towards kpe/hougang...there's a buangkok exit on the left..wat is this exit for..? lead to where? back to tampines? wat for..can earlier exit? . The if u turn right side lead to sengkang buangkok dr to go compass bow?..anybody familiar?made som mistakes there b4..

.To go back to Tampines Rd (The road outside the Paya Lebar Airbase). Can lead to the stretch where there are some temples.

To go to Sengkang, exit at the flyover (junction with Tampines Rd) and make an u-turn.

thks bro..tat time pax wan go sengkang ask me exit kpe then take buangkok..was not alert enaf looking at signs. ..only hv left buangko exit so tot bo li yew this exit go back tampines cos tpe b4 kpe alrdy hv tamp rd exit. then infront also hv another tamp rd exit..suddenly pax say make u turn in front..almost accident.. -

Also check the EXIT 9A leading to Tampines Rd where you can u-turn to Buangkok.
