Eve of Chinese New Year on a Saturday , 9th February 2013 .
CNY 1st Day Sunday 10th Feb 2013
CNY 2nd Day Monday 11th Feb 2013
CNY 3rd Day Tuesday also a Public Holiday ( Off-in-Lieu ) .

Wow this year CNY good leh .....
Friday can chiong all the way , last min shopping .
Saturday let them rot ! lol
Makan more important ...... makan liao take own sweet time start engine .
Everywhere people .....
Zoo .... Checkpoint .... AP all terminals ..... Saturday afternoon start town surely piang until 5pm from 1pm , LV members , from 4pm , all $8 pus meter .

Then Sunday 9am start can drive until no time to pee ... smoke .... makan .... until midnight !!!
CDG cabbies huat lah ..... call and advance all the way .
TransCab also current ping ping ping all the way .
Premier i dunno .... no fat hope , but i know sure have , but no interested in their calls .
I sweep on sight !
Everywhere in Singpaore sure got people , except town !
Town only MBS and RWS huat ....
Orchard area shops all close .
Can try the Cinema .
where got time ? Orchard ?
EVE day before 6pm Orchard still can , but later where got time ?
Outside at HDB area , busy like fuck .

Last year i was driving the TransCab Wish ...
CNY Eve , started at 6pm as usual on a CNY Eve ...
First trip from Bird Park , $10 plus meter ! LV job .
Cos bo pian , 6pm street empty empty .. all still makan , except Bird Park & ZOO need taxis .
every year need taxis , bird park need very badly .
$10 plus meter piang a while .
After 8pm ..... pace got a bit fast , all the way until midnight , still many people .
Connection after connections ...... avoid Waterloo Street after 1am . Jam

if lucky will have people carry the joysticks and board your cab , u surely huat that year !
But must open window , hahahaha

U can forget about NIGHT , less exciting than DAY .

Jurong West to Bedok type alot . Whole family .
Bedok to Boon Lay type .
Tampines to Woodlands type .
Pasir Ris to CCK type .

Sure wanna go town (cinema,makan), east coast park, bird park, zoo, etc

Locals need us more, must give priority.

Nowaday, with so many foreigners, CNY is not as glory as last time, you will see many locals going overseas instead, knn -

No lah, night shift also can cari makan, dun anyhow hantam. You Chinese never play mahjong, tai tee ar, no gathering at ppl homes?
Anywhere go also can find pax, go ulu place also can find, ndt will ting or ppl will be flagging.
CNY very relaxed driving one, no need to stress, altho yes town is a bit tougher but still can find.
best advice for cny is - drive slowly, yes, slowly, and you will find your pax. The only tough night is the last night, a bit slower but still won't die one.

A lot of omo start at night due to the 25%, and the jpbp (jiak pa boey pow) are usually off the road.
