Can we stop posting photos and videos of taxi offences here?

  I think this has gone on long enough. This is a forum for TDs to share their ideas and views on everything.

  I don't think this forum was set up to post videos or photos of Tds commiting traffic or LTA TVL offences.

  Unless it has a real important value (like the one cyben did for the Jurong Island accident).  Or it involves a forummer personally, eg an accident or near accident.

  In fact even if offences are from private cars also shouldnt be our concern.

  If wanna post, I'm sure Stomp would love to have them  there.

  If you wanna report traffic/parking offences, please send to TP, LTA etc. No need post here, as here got no power except to curse and grumble.

  Anyone is free to complain about taxi drivers and road users, but I don't think this forum is served with reports and complaints about individual taxi drivers.

  we are here because of one of those things that happened in taxi driving ...... it does add some colours into a boring taxi driver's typical topic like : Newbies Advice needed ..... Which taxi company is good ? ..... Is OMO good ? Which taxi companies offer good benefits ? ..... bla bla bla

  To each it own, if the TS think posting of video is benefit all, just post and see if the reaction.

  Or else can post @ TCSS so that RBS can maintain it lah.. Lol.

  Or else just like what u said, "leave it alone , let the post or videos dropped to the end and rot ."

  Anyway, there is no wrong or right posting but just that whether will there be viewers or not to see the post..

  True, but this forum shouldnt become an avenue for TDs to tekan other TDs and always highlight whatever mistake they make.

  A serious one or got value like cyben's accident one, that one good.

  If want everyday surely can find a photo or video of a taxi committing an offence on the road.

  But does it benefit us as Tds as a whole? Already stomp got all kinds of stupid pictures posted, here also want to become 2nd stomp and make us the laughing stock or make the public regard tds more negatively?

  everyday we were tekan by fellow reckless TD on the road maybe more appropriate to use the word Tekan .

  Cut three lanes across to pick up pax ......

  Also happen to me, not once but many times, not just by blue or yellow but other colours as well.

  And I'm sure to many other drivers here as well.

  But do you see me or them actually bothering to post here?

  At the most, I tulan, I go next to him and f him upside down, after that I resume. Incident over, move on to the next pax...

  Such videos will have again 2 effects .....

  Depends on one's mindset .....

  One maybe they are these sort ..... surely knnbccb to the person who posted such videos .

  The other take it as learning ..... they learnt that that is unfair , not nice , so they might not do it .

  Depends on each individual mindset .

  I seriously had enough of those antics since started driving , and hope such forum can change things better .

  This forum is all about sending messages across ...... right messages or wrong messages ....... still depends on each individual mindset .

  I dont see anything wrong..in fact anything got to do with taxi...im all eyes liao...even if taxi wanna fight against each other..lagi drama lagi best ...wakakakakak

  Living in singapore already got many rules...this cannot that cannot..now forum also need to put restrictions...wah lao...like that chalak liao...seriously some folks bei tahan see eyes very red...not happy dont see...see chickies lagi best right..wat for make yur heart angry later kena high blood pressure...heart attack...just because u are unhappy then defeat the purpose of enjoying life right?

  i am so sure hammerhammher is a law abiding road citizen , or else he wont be so garang to post such videos and images .

  That is good for hammer , cos he will constantly remind himself , dun do such thing , cos he might be caught this round .

  Good for us , there we will have another  road abidding citizens .

  Somethimes we dun say law this law that .... we use simple rules n regulations .

  Everyone play a fair game , with the rules n regulations .

  If one are to want to bend the rules , to gain a upper hand for self interest , prepare those consequences .

  For this, long ago I already said, maybe to one of the mod nicked as Zero,

  you see, in life what we see others doing is actually more or less what we are within the same trade, he might be driving recklessly, but there is a price to pay, just a matter of sooner or later, but if it is just a sleepy driver doing his last job or that he need toilet fast or that he is late for a call due to jam or hand over cab matters, he, like all of us, may act recklessly.

  And to video it and post it can cause him to lose his job, which he got no intention or whatsoever to do it, 10 or so hours on the road, dun tell me you dun day or night dream once a while. If it is a police or outsider warning us, or some farkers took a video and post it for his hatre for TD, I would say, we cannot do anything, but for TD to post our own brother doing it, then it is uncall for.

  And of course, I do also agree on those TD who purposely do it due to ego and pride, like racing each other and endangering the public should be punished

  That is why the whole world now is in a total mess .

  If everyone abide the law aka rules n regulations , Palestines and Isreal won't hoot util today still hoot .

  If we can follow simple ......in taxi particularly , those really simple rules n regulations , everyone will be driving pleasantly .

  U hungry , yaos , and got caught , u really cannot complaint much .

  What u need to do , it's how u going to appeal , or argue against the summons .

  If one taxi driver pax haven't on board , press meter ...... it will start an unneccessary dispute . Jst wait for a few seconds , got harm meh ?

  If one taxi driver , stop at bus lane for paxes , they are indirectly educating paxes , bus lane can stop if they flag .

  But once other taxi drivers dun stop , paxes starting to tell LTA , Singapore taxi drivers dun stop for them , bad service by sgp cabbies etc etc nuisance , all because of one asshole who stop for them before .

  I ever stop outside bus lanes , second lane at traffic light while it's red , and open my window : " I can't stop  and pick u up at bus lanes , u have to go taxi stand and get a cab outside bus lanes .'

  I really dun care if they can find any taxi stand , i really dun care if they know whether or not it's bus lanes .

  I educate them , one more knew the policy , that's good for us .
