I was surprised when my son asked me one MRT so full ...... and that just for 3.5m people , what about 6m people , MRT where got enough ?
My son was just a 10 year old boy that time .

It's actually not PM Lee's fault .
He inherited tonnes of rubbish left down by the previous PM .
It was the previous PM before PM Lee that initiated Foreign Talent .
That time we accept it ..... cos we thought just a bit .
But in one shot , just too many .
So many until everything jammed .
Traffic jam , buses jammed like sardines , MRT packed like sardines as well .
Then people start to take a cab home , then not enough cab .
Increase fare , still not enough cabs .
Then when taxi fare increase , too expensive , all hop to sit buses and MRT , then business good liao , fare increase .
Fuck type system .

Grad from uni 27yo, pay off the school fee loan when start working.salary $3k/m, takes you 4-5years getting the $30k in cpf.
New 4rm flat(cheapest) already $300k, 20% downpayment $60k.better find your bf/gf who also have $30k in cpf.
Wait for bto to be ready than can get married if lucky.many suay suay case, no house no honey happen already.
Loan 30years till age 62-65yo is no joke.because you cannot afford to lose a job.
Meantime the parents getting old, sick, unable to work=more $, after married=$$$
Got baby liao lagi lagi $$.

Whether it is PM or his predessor fault is not an issue here, they are all MIW, teamwork is their key, if his predessor is from other party, then maybe you can blame on it
Whatever being done, were done for, the result clearly shown a down flip in the ruling party policies making. Govt have to be realistic that they lost.
What more important for PM or MIW is ask themselves, so how? what is the next step? Control social medium? reduce more FT or lower cost of living in exchange for economy success?
Punggol East victory by WP is not all about WP, it is about a change that people wanted, a change not from those workers base Hougang SMC, but from middle class PE residents, and that is scary to PAP, because they had alway thot that the middle class are supportive of them, people like AH Guan..hehehe, worry about property, sing dollars and business drop.
PAP in it desparation to improve the infrastructure like transport, had in a way cost some lives, the recent one being at Upper bukit timah, a car crash into the side barrier and burnt, beside that there are also many accidents occurred there, all due to it massive MRT construction making the road more curving then F1 race road, even those F1 racers will find problem with it. Next year can ask F1 race to go there instead of Marina.
The case of ferrari and taxisa accident is also in a way of the cost of building MRT until people cannot see the red light, or that make the road curve in and bend there until dunno which is which lanes, and there are many other accidents occuring due to MRT construction, like the collapse that kill some construction workers at bugis, therefore, in a holistic approach, in it desparation to open up the transport due to it poor foresight, it also cost some lifes to be gone. Did MIW look into that??

If you see URA's yr 2001 plan, they intended to have future mass residential area in Ubin.
But in URA's year 2008 plan it has been scrapped.
