The morning that I picked up a IPhone 5 ....

Dropped Pax at Bedok at 7am to school ....
Then head back home ...
While cleaning up, I found a Iphone 5 on the back pax seat .....
Then 30 mins later, someone called, claimed she lost her phone .... so I told her I will pass her at her school ....
Wanted to pass me a " red pkt" but i declined since she is only a teacher ....
Is it the right way or procedure for TD to receive "Red Packet"??

I will usually give a red packet to thank the driver for his honesty.

Every now and then we also pick up phone and return and pax also offer different kinds of rewards or no rewards or just press meter send back....This kind of things need to post and ask for advise? SMLJ? Can post something more constructive or not?

aiyoh, pickup handphone only must come in and post meh? if pick up cash bills then how, TV reporter must come and interview you? Dun make a mountain out of a molehill lah......

You know how many mths bonus goberment gib teacher or not ???
Since its a she, maternity leave song song ...
Bonus gao gao, leave juea juea ...
so you should not feel 'guilty' accepting a 'red packet' from her

All teachers are entitled to a variable Non-Pensionable Annual Allowance(NPAA) which is usually equivalent to their 1-month gross salary and an Annual Variable Component (AVC) at the end of the year. The quantum of the AVC varies from year to year depending on Singapore’s economic performance.
Trained teachers are also eligible for consideration for the Performance Bonus. The Performance Bonus is an additional bonus awarded in March each year for the work done during January to December of the year before.
Leave for Urgent Personal Matters
Teachers may apply up to 12 working days of full pay leave a year during term time to attend to urgent personal matters.
School Holidays
The school year is from January to December each year. There is a total of 12 weeks of school holidays a year. Teachers may be called up for duty during the school vacation.
Medical Leave
You are also entitled to a maximum 14 days of full-pay sick leave and an additional 30 days of full-pay hospitalisation leave annually.

above is only one source of income nia...alot sideline at tuition ctrs...or give one to one....earning big bucks...tuition fee go up n up much faster than cab fares or rental anytime... Ts. .u shud take....take is to help her to rember not to leave anything behind...then make her feel good for hvg done a good deed to u... alamak. ..you r such an unhelpful TD....hahaha...

Happened to me 3 weeks back.
iphone4 at back seat 1am.
want hand in smrt amk depot, but they no accept.
so dump at amk npc, inform smrt.
like that smrt can also send you compliment letter...

few months back, picked up a pax around 2am to tanglin halt. halfway he say need to go 7-11 buy cigarettes, buy liao send him home.
i head back towards town, on my way decide to stop and take smoke break, TC call centre call me,
"abang around 2+ u got take pax frm xxx to tanglin halt? he left a pack of cigarettes, can send back? i'll inform him pay meter fare.."
LoL, i send back lor, on meter, nearby but fare nearly $8 (midnight charge)
reach pax say thank you and pay meter, i give discount.
Few weeks back took FT indian pax to Shangri La Hotel, his handphone went flat so i offer to charge for him.
Drop at Shangri La, straight away pick another pax to ION. Reaching ION i wanted to look at my phone, then say previous pax phone on top of my phone charging.
Switch on the phone, pax called, i said, "Sir your handphone in my cab, i'll reach back Shangri La in about 10-15min since i still have pax and heavy traffic, my cab number SHXXXX..
Reach Shangri La i pass him the phone, he gave me $10. Think think FT cannot give chance just take and say thank you. If never take later they think all TD will do for free..
And very rare get "tip" from FT indian anyways... heheh
