The best way to solve those issues it's not by $8 plus meter .
After 5pm ......... to 12mn .
They must resolve the $3 cbd surcharge , how ?

Anyway some taxi co should think about this . Maybe SMRT coz they used to be very radical co , biggest merc fleet in the past , 1st to intro chrysler , why not $8 urgent current booking?
The point of this post is why dont taxi co incorporate this option into their app? Right now , if you wanna pay more for current i believe you need to CALL in .
But when pax wanna pay more means no taxi right? the lines should be farking busy right? how to get thru? hahaha.

This idea won't work one..... booking charge cannot get taxi, so? Means no taxi lah..... LV also got $20 + meter, also no one take.... why? Cos no taxi lah....... So many times $8 + meter also no takers.... means what? we still wait for $10 + meter? $20 + meter? Means no taxis lah!

No taxi mean no taxi.......
In our limo group, sometime a short distance of 50pts also no takers, why? No taxi mah.........

Ever heard 1 call from Tuas South Ave 14, time 6pm.........
Keep calling, calling for help, pax going to town.........
From top10-top15-top20-top30, also no taker...........(meaning whatever meter plus xx)
So caller give up, reluctantly call 6552 2828, current Mercedes $10 plus meter, only hold line for a while, confirm Mercedes cab number was given..........
He was so shock, because the number confirm was 1 of the member also...........
Money is not everything..........

This day, pax very smart 1, today they pay super extra to get a cab.........
Tomorrow call again, you tell them no taxi available..........that impact si beh strong 1.........
Even CDG want to do this also must make sure all their TD si beh yao 1, which in many cases, not so.........

As suggested , maybe Taxi cos can add this feature unto their existing app. It is not to replace the whole current booking structure now.
Its still biz as usual for me , $3.30 booking? ok i just take inside CBD POB $10.55 .
Outside CBD errrr not enough incentive for me to take. Same goes to taking a taiko call to woodlands , i maybe more motivated to cheong empty to town knowing i may have a chance to grab a $8 current call. Now? ask me go down? for 3.30? no la i rather go kranji mrt and pick ah nehs to sungei kadut.
In short , 1 cab out of town , 1 cab lesser in town.. multiply that by 1000 confirm city bo chia.
Have a feature like that , no taxi will become got taxi .
There needs to be revamp of some sort as from what i see , our current infrastructure tak boleh tahan liao ... taxis included.

If outside CBD $8 plus meter ..... inside cbd jiak sai , all waiting for outside cbd calls .

how can u compare LV with the whole entire taxi co fleet? LV got what? 100 members? out of those 50% active? enough for the whole city?
put this option in half the problem is solved. Taxi drivers for an additional $4 will cheong their lives to grab calls .

No harm to just add in one option, in fact most customers would be happy esp those in great urgency.
