.
its fair benefit dun come to us . . . cos give to us we also dun provide good service , not really a fabulous amount for us to give good service .
so its fair we continue to do whats best for us .
Given a 30% cut is to compensate the cost of operation, which is getting higher and higher, the increase in business tax, wages and cost of goods is what lead to govt giving a 30% cut on commercial vehicle, it may or not apply to taxi companies, which is categorize under public transport.
Moreover, it is the perogatives of taxis companies to compensate TD or not. But I can say that most will satisfy their own shareholder pockets before giving any consideration for TD if only that 30% apply to taxis
Foreign Levy is increasing, employer CPF is going to be back to 20% contribution, govt is adding 40% to help singaporean up their salary in a co sharing with Companies. The budget is going to rise local salary to a mid range of 2500
I guess if you are still young, able, willing and have an opportunities now to go back to the workforce, it can be better than driving a taxis.
they will ask u to sign a contract for tamp paid increase for 3 year...
SMLJ? Taxi coy operation cost increase or OUR operation cost increase? Rental higher, diesel higher? How come we dun get it??? zheng hu really need to be changed......not only deaf but also blind......
aiya all this even if give is given to hirer, me relief get nothin

Rebate ki lan lah, knn, they like to use nice, heroic and skillful words to make TD happy.
Let do the sum, taxi rental included the road tax, all the while TDs are the one paying road tax, but take it as company pay, which is not correct. And now govt is giving 30% off, they happily and announce rebate like God giving money like this..this are actually TD hard earn money, I will call it giving back.
And with 30% on road tax, why aren't they lowering the rental??
As usual, lang are them, gui also them, god also them, ...
very intresting to see few mth later coe drop below 30k...
what reason they'll use to maintain current rental..

After driving taxis for so long, let me ask you just one question, have you see new taxis rental fall before?
In business, there are 2 kind of costs, one know as the intangible, the other know as the tangible cost.
Intangible meaning fix cost, this one usually will only move up, seldom go down
Tangible meaning flexible cost, this one of being flexible of cost can move up and down lah
Taxi rental price is intangible, it will remain and go up when necessary
It is the perks and benefits that come along to offset the rental price or make it looks attractive, we said the intangible price.
If cost in operation is down, you tends to see taxis companies start to provide this perk that 660 per month, this fuel rebates, loyalty bonuses and all these keep changing to lure people in and at the same time instill discipline like must not have 3 x complaint, must not have accident, must not delay rental.
So if you will to ask me if rental price will go down, I will said NO, more benefit and perks, I will said yes but at the expense of more and better discipline expected from TD.
Remember almost all our Taxi companies are govt link, they work in a way that even the money is yours, they expect something from you, from performances to no claim and so on.
In every BSheet account statement of a company, you can alway see this tangible and intangible asset/cost
