No use, I disagree I gave example, premier taxi which I drove does read the forum, to the extend They even print out the content to show the management. I am not sure about others coy But at least the discussion is not always wasted, some new or old driver may even gain Knowledge which could be a help in their driving

No use,i agreed.Ten years later i will still be the same, driving a taxi if i keep discussing.I would prefer sharing where or when,summon officers alway appear.Where always got hidden mobile speed cam,which bus lane cannot drive through etc.

It doesn't matter to me ..... the idea is to share what we know , and let those authority counter that .
One example ...... garden by the bay , i share about it , it's up to them to decide .

Sorry just to bring up LakeView , i dun know about others , I felt this forum give LakeView a lift .
Since when Straits Times talk about Lake View ? Since when Shin Ming talked about Lake view ?
Yup , since they know this forum .
It really doesn't matter to me whether or not reports reflected positively or negatively towards LakeView , end day ...... it doesn't hurt us , it strengthen us .

We are no longer in the era of the early 80's and late 90's , when everything the media censored out , everything they know , all covered up , and we assumed nothing had happened , and life goes on .
Now got media stream , make full use of it .

The media power of any forum in Sgp , not only this forum , it has got enormous invincible power , i think i also scared .

I remember back in August 2011 ( if i am not wrong ) , some forum member from CDG highlighted "hearsay" from CDG's mechanics CDG overhauling their taxi fare structures .
We do have a decent discussions after that .
We did suggested peak hour time need to be extended , 5pm to 8pm can no longer solve the commuting problems .
We also suggested peak hour surcharge need to be lower down to 20% .
Extend peak hour surcharge from 5pm to 11pm at least .
Perhaps it was just an coincident they adopted those extended peak hour surcharge from 6pm to 12mn , not as suggested 5pm to 11pm .
And they did reduce the peak hour surcharge from 35% to 25% , not 20% we suggested .
Just an coincident i guess .
I remember red5xx sms me , those fare structured they set , quite close to what we had suggested .
Just an co-incident i guessed .
Then on 18th december 2011 , taxi fare was overhauled .

But of course they did more than that ....
including the $0.22 per jump crap , and those turtle turtle speed taximeter rate .
