To be relief for TransCab , can make use of some traditional method , cos they yet to have a portal , soon LTA coming up one .

I thought which taxi company to join is not important ...... cos it's a learning tool , any taxi will do .
Most important is the time u start work , and whether it's near your home .
Taxi driving is about Free n Easy , i never believe in sending and fetching .

What i do ..... very successful one .
Everyday 8-9pm , i will ride my bicycle go around my house's nearby multi storey carpark ....
Prepare a stuck of half A4 blank paper .... and a pen .
Eye those taxi just came back from OMO , how i know just came back ?
I touched the bonnett , hot means just came back .
Then write on the paper
Relief staying nearby looking for hirer
6-7 days
time night or day

Every multi storey car park sure have taxi after 8pm , dun have i chop .
These people , perhaps , like you , trying to find reliefs , but they dunno how .... never surf internet , never go taxi coy see listing , waiting for friends introduce , die liao .

The only problem , SMRT need cash full $1000 as relief , no instalment .
SMRT members can clarify that ...... but hopefully can instalment .
Not enuf money , Comfort and TransCab ideal
Silver also need full payment of $1k .

for comfort and citycab, if you are relief, 250 first installment, then 250 per month for next 3 months.
if you are hirer, min 500 and then 2 weeks later another 500.
must open uob account with passbook

But as far as my experience concern .......Comfort , follow by TransCab , already covered market share of 90% of the taxi market . Easier to find just base on these 2

What's the important role of a relief ?
If driving relief for day , it's relief's responsibility to sent vehicle for servicing , hirer drive night , where got time ?
Any repair needed , day relief is the one to deal with those repairs , not hirer .

Night relief ?
Top up diesel or cng full full handover , wash outside if dirty and clean inside including car matting and car seat .... make it presentable , and hygienic .
Do not otang rental , once a while forgot , can , pay next day .
Also do not practise paying Advance for rental when being a relief , we dun do that !!

MDT course it's after u confirm with hirer liao , then attend . -
Now it's about finding the right "boss" first ....
Anyway MDT only for Comfort ....TransCab no .
TransCab believe in self learning , dun waste time , earn money more important .

Abt me har...
I am 33yrs, just quit my job of 11yrs to take care of my wife and unborn child... no time to take care if I still in my line... 2 days work 1.5day off where got time to care for family..
Like to move ard, enjoy talking to ppl... talk to many cabbies b4 I make a switch. I dun mind making less money just to spend more time with family. Can say I being inspired by one of the wish driver I met during one of the trip. He is going to punggol to meet up his friend after dropping me.
I also having poly part time diploma coming upin march...all night class.I
Thinking of driving full time except sat/sun for the next 3yrs then I decide again whether to continue or work something related to my diploma.

After reading so many post of poolman, I guess I heading towards to relief 1st then slowly to omo... by then I slowly work it out by then.
