For example, if premiums are increased for taxi fleets, the taxi driver will charge you more for your fare."

since when tax driver charge pax more even if taxi coy have their insurance increase due to accident why not he quote the bus company increase the bus fare where bus company insurance premium goes up , as there are more accident involoved nowadays on the road I wonder what kind of education level thi Derek Teo have, PLSE graduate? or like LTA, eat too much pig organ soup, and the brain slowly start to transforms ........ ha ha ha

i would be very happy to be able to charge more if the way meter charge can change if 1. taxi insurance premium goes up, 2. diesel/petrol/cng goes up 3. idle time by taxi goes up 4. family expenses goes up 5. holiday cost goes up , travel more and further woh, so many to write how to finish, if can finsh writing, nobody will take taxi liao haiz, stupid comment

since he know it is inflated, y can't he do something? this inflated claims going on for years.. if cannot do anything, at least can prevent the mouth from opening.. seems to make him very stoopid.. esp with the tag of president..

a lot of people happy to be involved in accidents if it,s not their fault,socan claim thousands!

i am also a victim of a fruadulent claim by one of a green driver...
saying i hit his cab along this road blah blah blah whereas i din even kiss any1...
i think he is trying to pull a quick 1... no proof no nothing... i think his security deposit gone ler... til now the case is open and even still claiming loss of earning, medical fee of whiplash... my car is in good condition...if i rear him, then y my insurance side took pics of my car in good condition... not even a scratch on it...
like that my insurance policy increase til further notice... haiz

for insurance co., it seem that they r not willing to defend your interest at all.. in fact, the higher the claim, the more happy they pap.. afterall, will be charge to your next insurance bill.. maybe, claim more commision along the way i dunno..
only when drivers start to feel the heat of ever increasing premiums, then they start to cho kang..
for example, a small scratch on anywhere of the car n bill of thousands of $ got to go to somebody, that alone is already unacceptable..
that time when i drive a van, bang from behind by a lady driver.. if she just offer me 1 k, i will take n go.. she dun want, bring me to her so call friendy workshop..
her own nissan repair, less than half k.. my van market value, less than 12 k..free three day use of rental car..
finally, the bill that goes to her insurance co. comes up to $5.6 k.. at the rate this stoopid issue goes on, how many can tarhan?

ya...alot of these workshops survive on inflated claims alone...had similar experience while driving own car last time.
