Hello taxi uncles,
Would like to enquire whether red light cameras work on right turns. I was turning right today onto lornie road from sime road , i decided to go ahead as the light was still amber, however just as my car was on the line the light turned red. I don't recall seeing any flash though , however there is a surveillance camera in front and red light cameras on both sides of lornie road going straight.
Just wondering whether i got booked . Thanks for replying
Answer is NO .
That camera meant to catch straight proceeding driver from Lornie Road to Adam Rd .
sometimes worry too much also no use, things happen alrdy, nothing can be done.don't ever live to regret on things that has happened.
i saw flashes when I turn right on red, but didn't get the ticket le

As Poolman had said, Traffic cameras r focused on the 1st-2nd or 3rd left lanes heading straight. I was once "caught on camera" back in 2006 @ Tampines Ave 7 towards Pasir Ris and Loyang Ave. As the traffic turned red, i filtered from 2nd lane into 3rd lane to make a turn (right) into TPE (Towards PIE-ECP). Due to the sudden change of lanes, my tyres touches the wires at 2nd left lane (going straight only) and it activated the camera to flash. A TP letter came within 14 days mentioned that i have "beat" the red light. (but actually, i only turned right, which have a green arrow). I appealed sucessfully and was given a warning for changing lanes at the last minute. Haha, better than 12 demerit points and $200 fine right? Hence, traffic cameras r only for cars beating the red lights.... However now, with so many kinds of traffic lights cameras at junctions, they may have changed their stand.

for my case, it turnred red 1 meters from the stop line and my speed was 50kmh, so the lucky keleng passengers inside got to enjoy my sharp 50km to 20km u-turn
There r some cameras that "catches" drivers making illegal U Turns.
For example the one at Vivo City. Telok Blangah Rd towards town &/or turning right onto Sentosa Gateway. Many drivers was caught by the camera.
Bo light flashing, bo issue lah. Just drive with care
My worst year of driving, 2009..........
6pts Adam Road speeding, knn 84km/hrs nia.........
12pts Red light camera at Yishun Ave 7 junction..........
Than sway sway kanna another 4pts, parking offence, can't remember where liao..........
Receive TP warning letter..........
That time still driving Sonata.........
And got 7 month to tong 2pts..........
I might be the slowest sonata in town that time.........
What i know in Singapore , only one red light camera take turning vehicles snap shots .
That is at Alexandra Road towards city ... the turn to Jalan Bukit Merah .
If green arrow blink blink , turning red and u still chiong , prepare to get it .
My advice to those who travel along Lornie Road towards Adam Rd .
How do u know the light will be turning red ?
Once Singapore Island Country Club that side's Sime Road got vehicle waiting to come out of Lornie Road , prepare to stop .
If there wasn't any vehicle , u need not worry the traffic light to turn red .
And what i know .....
The red light camera is active at night , but for some funny reason , due to lighting reason , it might not capture the number plate .
But of course take no risk lah .....
Day time , u better dun play play .
