Double yellow lines = No parking at all times (demerit points)
Single Yellow = Can park between 7pm to 7am.
Single Zig Zag = Only alighting, no waiting. (demerit points)
Double Zig Zag = no stopping at all times. (demerit points + free towing to TP)

Maybe I need to go back to do refreshment course.....
(Private limo drivers bo chap road regulations)....
but always kena chased away by LTA enforcement officers (especially at Mt Elizabeth's area). -

Double yellow lines = no parking, no waiting, you may alight or pick up passengers, and go off. Fine=S$70, no demerit points.
Double zig-zag yellow lines = no stopping, no parking, no waiting, no alighting or picking up, in short no stopping is allowed. Fine=S$120 + 3 demerit points.Si beh long never tio liao........
Maybe his friend park along double zig-zag yellow lines?........

The last time I even kena a LTA fine was the ERP Toll.... the Cash Card not probably inserted in the IU.

LTA never interfere's TP's job .
TP never interfere LTA's job .
As far as i know , TP now seldom issue illegal parking summons , they leave all to LTA Enforcements liao .

iIlegally parking can be fined up to $300 and 3 demerit points....

i reckoned that "how bad the illegal parking affects the traffic", ranging from a fine or a fine + demerit points.
hence, there must be some guidelines the LTA enforcement officers have to decide whether the illegal parking carries a demerit points deduction.
