Pros and Cons of Having Advertisement on top of the taxi.

Hi, Looking forward for your inputs on the Pros and Cons of having Advertisement.

Its like paying to advertise for them too. Higher effort against the wind resistance = more fuel used. At your expense. If say 2 to 4 litres difference a day, 365 x 2 to 4 = 730 to 1460 litres of diesel a year. Somehow think this figure is still conservative.

Bo pros lah...Only pros I can think of is the money. So before throw key go install take the money liao then throw key...Lol

hahaha last time i drove my corona with advertisement right through the entrance . Loud bang then came down and see OMG the roof top kena the bar , whole thing crooked!
Went back to CDG , mechanic knock back for me . lucky me

More prominent,,, whether or not you hv pax on board, ppl still wave you... passed them alrdy still wave u lol...not really a pro though... maybe on those obk timing helps but not worth the overall cons lah

Oso better avoid those tree branches, ever kena and then crack, that time SMRT say go repair yourself......$300 poorer, you still want?

roof top advert , body advert .......... i dun remember when the last time i got one for my cab .
Heard from FT , CDG gave free diesel voucher for their advertisement on body .
Roof top one even more money .
If i intend to throw key , i will take their advertisement money and throw , hahahahah

TransCab advertisement policies is good ...... not compulsory one .
CDG is compulsory if they elected u .

It funny when we rent the taxi from them , help them generate revenue , and when talking about advertisement , there was nothing interesting to convince me to take up the Advertisement .
If every month $200 benefit , i will take up .
As good as 2 days free rental .
Why not ?

I think the whole advertisement for 6 months will cost them more than $1200 dollars .

Last time, CDG gave perk to "dress up" your taxi........
My friends take something like cash $xxx plus voucher $xxx.........
Than with roof top, the perk will be more........
Before that, CDG always "force" TD to go put advertisement, until TD siam here, siam there........
This day, can say the advertisement not bad design liao lo, at night roof top still got lighting somemore.........
If your taxi got a lot of dents here and there, better go put lor, save the repair cost.........
Knn, why white Mercedes bo advertisement?........

U're damn lucky. Because you're going uphill, the impact is not as great.
Last time (many donkey years back and I haven't drive cab yet), I heard a loud bang and when I turned around, I saw a corona with the top advertisment panel on the floor. It was at Rochor Centre's basement car park entrance, also 1.8M height limit. The gantry is erected at the bottom of the down slope.

Pros: Good opportunity to publicize.
Cons: Installation of these Advertisements might be a hindrance to line of sight?
