Public calling for imprisonment of bad drivers and fine

SINGAPORE - Drivers on Singapore roads appear to be reckless, selfish, uncivil and belligerent, judging from the number of stories of accidents and road-rage incidents submitted lately by citizen journalists to Stomp.
The prevalence of in-vehicle cameras has led to an increase in reports about bad driving.
Take, for example, the case of a driver of a blue Honda who refused to give way to an ambulance.
The report of what he did drew considerable flak from Stompers after the story appeared in the website's citizen-journalism section, Singapore Seen. Despite the ambulance's blaring siren, the Honda stayed in its lane, forcing the ambulance to squeeze its way through from the left.
Stomper Christine alerted Stomp to the driver's brazen behaviour, which had been recorded on video and uploaded on YouTube by user zeHuggable.
Echoing the sentiments of many Stompers, Christine called for the Honda driver to be punished, citing a clause in the Public Order Act which states that a person who obstructs the passage of any ambulance may be fined up to $10,000 or imprisoned for up to six months, or both.

Back I cannot see lah, all the decoration and flower block my view liao, what I know is that when I play the funneral music at full vol, most cars from both end on the road will be about 5 car length away from me, and those who pass by me, you can see they never want to look, some do prayers (cross heart or buddhist palm) with one hand...nabey

Yah, esp those CDG drivers........ think they are king of the roads...... Not saying all are like dat but there are really some terrible ones.....

members , civic ambulance or Civil Defense ambulance ...... whether or not inside got people dying , it's our social responsible to give way .

If my grandma suffering from heart attack , need to arrive at hospital as quick as possible , the last thing i want to see it's my fellow Singaporeans road hogging my vehicle .
I think my grandma deserve , she has the right to survive , but she dun deserve to die because of some road hoggers hogging the road .

At least for me, if see casket vehicle full loaded(empty type never mind), if my kids in my vehicle, will tell them to turn their head away from seeing........
Than I will slow down or change my route(most casket going toward direction of Mandai)........
Not because I pang dang, just natural reaction lor, inherit from my mum.......
