No Driving license

  i got caught for driving without a license cuz my friend was not well that night and got caught by TP. i was released and was allowed to go back home.

  TP mentioned for me to wait for a letter for my court date.

  what plans of actions should i be taking?

  should i go to my MP for an appeal letter?

  The punishment for driving without a valid driving licence under Section 35(1) of the Road Traffic Act, Chapter 276 is a fine of up to $1000 or imprisonment for up to three months.

  Licensing of drivers, etc.

  35.

  —(1)  Except as otherwise provided in this Act, no person shall drive a motor vehicle of any class or description on a road unless he is the holder of a driving licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class or description.

  (2)  No person shall employ or permit another person to drive a motor vehicle on a road unless the person so employed or permitted to drive is the holder of such a driving licence.

  (3)  Any person who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence.
