Hnoestly i seemed like rebels , but never i got charge for offense like that from taxi company or LTA .
I never overcharge pax ?

i think all taxi meter can press location surcharge regardless of hour except for CBD which is control, so not clear the $3 he charge is for what, have not get the full story yet

Maybe you remind your other Mod about over-exagerating things. I was also wondering how can be 1 year suspension for overcharging less than $20.
And do go look around at some the advises given here, including 1 which will surely mean the person who follows such advise will be charged in court and never be allowed to drive taxi.

Not true , one forumer here driving a Wish , first time drink coffee at LTA , kena liao ....For not picking up pax at RoyalPlaza@Scotts ..... see pax never put BUSY and run into CBD .
He kena $300 fine ......
This LTA do things is like that one ..... end day , their job is to made complainant happy ..... by suspending driver , it's max they can do , and they are so sure that can make complainant happy .
That's why i said , work smart .
Commuters cannot sympathised one .
Give them chance , they also will whack u jiak lat jiak lat .

Everyday LTA got pile and pile of complains from commuters , email feedbacks non stop , phone non stop complaining ..... They handle until ki siow .....
Once LTA ki siow , cabby will need to follow them ki siow .
