The Ministry of Health (MOH) said Thursday that healthcare institutions in Singapore are on heightened alert and are prepared for the eventuality of a possible H7N9 avian influenza case.
SINGAPORE: The Ministry of Health (MOH) said Thursday that healthcare institutions in Singapore are on heightened alert and are prepared for the eventuality of a possible H7N9 avian influenza case, given today's globalised travel patterns .
The MOH comment comes after the first confirmed H7N9 case in Taiwan was reported.
The Health Ministry said that as of 24 April, seven individuals have been investigated for possible H7N9 infection. All have tested negative.
It added that it will continue to monitor the situation closely for further developments to ensure that public health is safeguarded.
MOH also issued a health reminder to travellers going to affected areas that have reported H7N9 cases.

June SG school holiday come home to go Taiwan with OC and two girls holiday for one week.
Sikali after Aku return back to Fujian, OC kena her company VVIP package for one month.
（At first when HR know thay her husband get back from CHINA want het to still at home Quarantine for one month but her CEO dun approved, at the end give her the VVIP package, because the production need her to follow up）Every morning she go to work before enter the company the indistry nurse check temperature, 1030am tea break check again.
0100pm lunch check gain, 0315pm tea break check again, 0530pm before go home check again.

Cos it's always started from the AP .
Once we stop the virus entering into AP , then the island will be safer .

The China Airport must do their part .... cos they have to restrict those risk into the plane .
Once viruses got into the plane , siow liao .
One plane 200-300 people , just one got such virus , just one in the plane , the rest very easy can contact the virus ..... very easy spread to the whole island .

tai drivers just be careful - all in the car is 1 to 1 very lethal if kenna. i belief these virus may not affect or immediately affect the victims. similar to SARS once you hear positive cases and start got deaths at 鸟人国 that means it will start to spread already. Heard the news couple of days ago one taiwanese visited 鸟人国 got back tw got it already. also when got this type of news means it is spreading, unseened.
if you all do pick up those look very ragged dirty ones better be careful.
鸡�感 and 鸡瘟 are very deadly and lethal.

So far only got H1N1 jab , i said before , better than nothing .
it's better than ur body inside nothing to defend against such virus .
My son daughter wife last week all kena flu , i the only one never kena .
At least H1N1 vaccine strong enough to defend common flu as well .

People avoid taxi during SARS is becos 1 taxi driver infected.
