ooh... didnt know tat.. guess the PM wun be in Singapore... so unlikely for elections... maybe 14 may is the final answer.
they should do it in late June.......................before civil servants get their mid-year bonus................
Even with no good caliber in Opposition nor PAP. Giving a VOID Vote is that we stand neutral but still not approve the PAP way of running things. After all there's never a perfect system in LIFE.
Unless seriously there's a good opposition caliber which can always come out and voice our concerns about our daily life. Notice many PAP MP especially the retiring one or senior one dun voice out for the residents....Is it they are too comfortable already?
Only come election, many comes out and throw questions.

break the political cartel with more oppositions
Next parliament sitting on 11 April (Monday). Refer to http://www.parliament.gov.sg/
Polling day is usually on a Saturday, by calculation...
2 Days later, dissolve parliament: 13 April (Wednesday)
7 days later, nomination day: 20 April (Wednesday)
Campaign period of 9 days: 20 April to 28 April (Thursday)
Cooling Day: 29 April (Friday)
Polling Day: 30 April (Saturday)
The earliest date of polling day will be 30 April, but considering it falls on a long weekend, polling day is still most likely in May. My guess is 14 May.
could be anytime, PAP starts to show their candidates.

Next parliament on 11 April (see my post above), that means the earliest polling day will be 30 April.
30 April: Unlikely due to long weekend (Labour Day), many going oversea for holidays
07 May: Unlikely due to ASEAN summit in Jakarta
14 May: Very likely
21 May: Likely but campaign period will clash with Vesak Day on 17 May, they may want to separate reglious festival from election
28 May: Unlikely, 1st day of June school holiday, parents bringing their children oversea for holidays
Will not be in June and after.
Won't be 28 or 29 May- RSAF Open House. They won't f*** up such a major event.
Guys, I suspect it to be 21st May.
I have received my recall order which falls on 9-26 May. Usually, my recall will fall on either early or end of year but not this time.
Furthermore, anytime b4 21st will still be exam period.
