Good idea!
Each time the status quo change it has resulted in an upsurge in
economic well being – as seen in South Korea when the Military backed
President lost out to a Civilian Political Activists, and allowed South
Korea’s economy to take on a stellar trajectory.
Similarly, when
Taiwan’s dictatorial and autocratic government formed by the Kuomintang
was overthrown – after it had been in government since the end of WW-2
and the retreat from Mainland China in 1949 – Taiwan’s economy grew even
faster.
Similarly, Thailand’s economy also grew after the Military
stepped back from politics, and allowed the civilians to rule the
country.
Singaporeans should trust ourselves as much as the 1950
generation had trusted themselves to give their votes to an
“inexperienced young lawyer with the gift of a gap” named Lee Kuan Yew
who had formed a PAP with some other young men – all of whom had ZERO
TRACK RECORD and ZILCH POLITICAL EXPERIENCE to form a government.
Still Singaporeans gave their trust and confidence to this bunch of
young and enthusiastic politicians – and gave them an opportunity of a
life time to form the government of the day in 1959; and Singapore grew
until 1980s.
It is time for Singaporeans to repeat the historical
event in 1959 – to elect another group of young and inexperienced
Singaporeans to form the next government, with their fresh minds and
enthusiastic spirit – they will be like “new brooms guaranteed to sweep
clean” and throw out all the skeletons hidden under the carpet and in
the closets.
On a small Island there are only two human, one man named Ben and one lady named Des. They live happily until one day God put in another four young man into the Island. Now Ben have to compete with the other four male to be with the lady. As Ben was older he lost Des to the four young man.
He did not give up easily, he trained hard trying to fight the four young man. Unfortunately, the four young man also train themselve.
In the end Ben not only lost Des, he was even screwed by the four young man.
After 4 years, the four young man was removed. Ben was happily jumping around thought that his chance was coming but he saw another four younger man was put in to replace the other four young man. Now Ben was very much older compared to these new comer.
That it, Ben was tired mentally and physically, he gave up on all the upgrading and training. He just bend down and let them screw. He understand that he can never make it as there will always be new young blood to replace these four.
So we all are fuck up by PAP (acting as our god). No matter how much we upgrade we can never compete with young people as we are getting older every year. We have to take care of our old parents and children. These new FTs do not have to worried about their familes they are here just to make money.
VOTE THE TRAITORS AND THEIR PETS (like Ben and Des) OUT to HELL

For once, you posted something worth reading a second time.
due to nature of this topic, it is neccessary.
NS enforces an artificial active
lifestyle and gets you accustomed to an above average calorie intake.
Once slaves leave NS, many fail to adjust their calorie intake down to
suit the normal sedentary lifestyle and they put on more weight than
they would have not they not served NS. Just look at professional
athletes after they retire, take Ian Thorpe for example, and you see the
same kind of effect. That's why men are fatter.
NS is also forcing men to put on weight in order to downgrade to
avoid the IPPT, it's a form of resistance and rebellion, SAF wants you
to keep fit, you do the opposite to defy them. If you are already
struggling during NS time, it only gets worse and worse as you get
older, instead of fighting the losing trend, you go the opposite
direction.
Why would anyone want to keep fit in order to defend jobs for FTs?
When there's nothing worth defending, you do your utmost to ensure that
SAF is crippled, which not only includes damaging SAF equipment. The
more jobs Sinkees lose to foreign trashes, the more angry they become
and the less they want to defend Sinkeeland.
In short, NS is the leading cause of male deaths by forcing them to damage their health and sending them to an early grave.

If that is to happen, I can't imagine the number of reservists and ex reservists demanding compensation from PAP.

also got a point here, but then the cycle has to be broken before the further increase of the NSmen and MR people you're talking about demanding even more compensation, should they try to outsource NS.
In order to break PAP dominance, at least 51% seats must go to all oppositions. Otherwise PAP still have the all/ last say of all policies they want to implement.
PAP being 49% will need to “consult” All Oppositions/ Native Citizens before any implementation of policies.
This is what all Native Citizens want, have their says and be consulted. Not suka suka PAP can change policies, rules, gst, transport hikes etc so easily.
So my fellow men, remember we have to BREAK FREE from the iron fist of PAP once and for all so that all NATIVE CITIZENS will have a control of their lives and future starting from this coming GE!

Expect more seats this coming election as the population has increased.
In the region of asia. all students frm around asia would want to come in to singapore to study simply because everything here is based on merit. you work hard = you earn money. while this may be fair, locals like myself tends to lose out.
China. there are millions of students are all aiming to be the very best. you guys know that some parents and kids sleep outside schools for days and nights just to enrol into a school? some of them know they cannot stand out with the vast amt of compeition therefore choose to come to singapore to study. besides, singapore money is stronger and our local kids arent that smart and hardworking anyway.
Taiwan. the china students know that taiwan's scholarships are solely for the locals only. thus china students only choice is to come singapore.
Malaysia. if you're in malaysia and not malay, you better study elsewhere as malaysia protects malays only. you may score the same marks as a malay. but your teacher will award higher grade to the malay student. so where does the chinese malaysians go? singapore. In addition, the china students cant speak malay, therefore coming to malaysia is definitely no go for them.
While it is true that the education policy of merit is a fair one to everyone in the world. we cannot deny the fact that a large no. of locals are falling through the net.
5 pointers IMO.
1) Rising costs of living (From HDB flats to Groceries).
2) Protecting men from being discriminated at work (due to NS obligations)
3) More stringent immigration policy (less foreign workers, talents)
4) Lesser scholarships for foreigners and limit foreign student intake in universities
5) Improving our infrastructure, especially public transport
New citizens who are also eligible to vote should not be left out as well..

do you meant that people are shallow enough to go there ONLY for the entertainment? What good is a rally if a basic purpose of a rally is not being fulfilled?
In singapore,
1. There are many JLB top management team in their late 50-60s. holding on to their turf ( see jack neo's movie on government corporation for ideas)
2. Now gov. encourages or wants to make it a law for retirement age to be extended to 68- serves these JLB well.
3.
Many 30s-40s. unable to "perform" due to the above and become
disillusioned. Many are also forced to "carryballs". For those unable to
accept they either fall out of favour or have to leave the scene.
(Even
the teaching profession is mired in controversies. ACS(I) bio teacher
must become a "comfort man" to the CEO ( Even schools use business title
like CEO, CFO...stupid )
4. Many lady bosses around especially in schools and statboards. Woman in leadership is akin to having a lady to pilot a 747.
5.Private
sector hires based on cost, not based on experience. They also practise
age discrimination. Males above 35 are considered over the top and too
expensive.
-
6. Sinkie males are considered "tokenism" in many
MNCs- "Just to make up the numbers". Employers prefer their workers to
be non-NS liable.
7. MNCs prefer not to transfer skills or give important roles/functions to sinkies as a result. They also prefer to bring in their own people from their host countries or from SEA countries.

AN IMPORTANT QUOTE :
To quote Barack Obama:
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time.
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
Nobody will cast the vote for Change in your place.
