  IF HERITAGE enthusiasts have their way, Bukit Brown Cemetery off Lornie Road would stay untouched.

  But in land-scarce Singapore - and especially since Bukit Brown is sitting on a large tract of land - the reality is that the dead will have to make way for the living sooner or later.

  of course it'll go... since when did Heritage mean a thing?

  we even destroyed our National Museum for an ERP tunnel!

  I think that would be the National Library.

   

  Museum is still around.

  oh yah.. my bad.. it was the library..

  I will not be a fool to bet against them demolishing the museum for another road in the future.

  Oh my.

  Bukit Brown has to be a rather significant cemetery along with Bidadari....which was cleared.

  They do provide guided tours through the cemetery I believe, and am now looking for any such tours.
