As far as Ah Xin is concerned in the song "志明與春嬌", he got the pronunciation for almost all the Hokkien words correct except for "岸" wrongly for 2 times with the same pronounciation。 This is enough to show that he sang with effort to pronounce words correctly, and indeed to him, that pronunciation of "岸" (" ua " and not " huaᴺ ") is correct and it is not a haphazard, careless mistake.
If he really sings haphazardly without taking the effort to pronounce properly, then I expect at least more than 20 mistakes and they must appear haphazardly (i.e. sometimes pronounced correctly, sometimes pronounced wrongly, and when pronounced wrongly they are not exactly the same wrong pronunciation). Make sense?

IF that is the only mistake it is indeed not too bad. Actually, I did not even know he pronounced wrongly until you mentioned. I take it Taiwanese hokkien is sometimes different from ours.
zit ma means now. Their hokkien sounds more like jiao wan .

haahahahah, thanks for that. I also say tsit lau or it lau. Frankly, it is a tough dialect to learn.

As referred by me to the link above, "Tsit Ma" came from the process of assimilation from the original phrase, "Tsit Bak"
