with every second the world gets more crowded
Its too crowed alr...the MRT NSEWL is designed in the 80s/90s but population keeps increasing. What we get are crowed MRT trains

Yup, its not just us. The world is getting more crowded by the day. It just sucks that we had little space to start with in the first place. Furthermore, most of our transport infrastructure has not been upgraded much since they were conceived. Hence, the frequent breakdowns.
But we gotta keep our heads up. Our foreign friends have a home to go too if it gets too bad. Not us. This is our home, and might as well make the best of things.
older train stations in many countries dont have the probs our "first world country" has. SMRT better wake up their idea~
Last year foreigners in SG was 60% of population.
Anyone knows the updated status? haha
Reclaim more land in Punggol... Let's see how they will develop Punggol road end without chopping all the trees, minus the seaside.
Or worse, one day Coney Island or even Pulau Ubin needs to be developed?
But SMRT got not enough double decker bus, so the roads in Yishun/Woodlands also damn crowded...
I feel the same too. Singapore has too many foreigners.
.
Slowly the entire Singapore will become Orchard Road peak hour like that
You can call it crowded but it's nice. Not too crowded to call it a problem. Due to the small size of the country it can be easily managed.. :)

It's already a problem. Costs of living increasing, spaces of living decreasing, society getting more competitive and frustrating to stay afloat. Many people are having a hard time to earn a decent living and find a job.
Easily managed? In reality, it is called controlling every aspect of your life that is bringing frustration and anxiety to the people.
.
I wonder if there is such a thing as "off peak" hours anymore
Can't be helped man
every city is busy, singapore maybe feels more so because of its size... try visiting any other city (esp hong kong) and you'll realise it's not so bad!
Crowded everywhere. Many foreign workers and tourism
f****ing crowded
Yes, alot of Malaysian will come to Singapore to work because of the exchange rate. The workload the same but the pay is 3 times higher, imagine you are from Malaysia, will you come to work in Singapore?
agree too crowded. virus spresd easily also

and tank the daily jam twice? or even rent a small room that cost half of the pay?
i hate the crowds.
I also feel Singapore has gotten over-crowded compared to 10/12 years ago.
No place to stand in MRT, last time it was like "no seat" but can stand.
Weekend every shopping mall is packed with people,
Cinema ticket hard to find a good seat.
Long queue in restaurants.
Even east coast park is not so quiet anymore like before.
Something is not right. I dont know what it is.
Some people are blaming on foreign workers like Indians or Bangladeshis, even mainland Chinese.
But I want to ask them, who will do all the dirty works if you kick out these workers from SG?
You wanna work in the Construction? Cleaning? Shipyards? With low salary?
Or you want job in aircon office? Hypocrites never appreciate these people.
Sinkies are too proud to get their hands dirty. Change this attitude, we need the foreign workers unless you can do your own jobs like Australians or Americans/Europeans.
Its true that service sector and many Blue collar jobs are taken by foreigners but why not prove us better than them so the industries will hire us instead of them.
Lets show professionalism and dedication rather than pointing fingers. Im sure it will help.
Cheers.
