  Seriously sepaking, how many cook for lunch or dinner at home? Would like like to learn something new if you are keen to teach.. I mean normal cooking, not elaborated type like in restuarants, too much to take care off, afterall, there are other house work to be taken care off too... anyone care to share

  I used to cook a lot but now don't because I live alone now and it's cheaper and more convenient to just eat out at the coffee shops. I love cooking and I collect cookbooks! When I cook, I either recall the recipes from memory (I still remember what ingredients my grandma used to make pounded rempah and I observed her when I was a kindergartner!) or I use cookbooks, with some improvisation. (Not all cookbook recipes are 'accurate'.)
  
  Here's what I've cooked before : Stir Fried Vegetables; Stir Fried Broccoli with Scallops / Crabmeat / Abalone Mushrooms / Prawns; Chinese Pork Chops; Fried Garoupa with Spicy Tomato Sauce; Spicy Chilli Prawns; Szechuan Prawns; Pig's Liver with Dark Sauce; Steamed Egg with Minced Pork; Chicken & Ginseng Soup; Lotus Root Soup; Keemah (Indian style spicy minced beef / curry); Sambal Udang (Sambal Prawns); Fried Tempeh with Sweet Sauce; Yong Tau Fu with Fermented Bean Paste; etc etc etc.
  
  I'm a 'slow' cook because I like to spend time cooking for people out of love. hehehe! So, I take my own sweet time in food preparation and get all happy from it.
