Wanna do so fireworks and appear in the mid of the stage like some singers grand entrance like that..but hor have to apply for all those permits cost them at least a few K, so have to shelve it....
He told me, he had 100 tables there...dunno real or not...anyway he has nothing to bluff also....
But leh...Neptune got R-rated show which none other Banquets can provide...he told me at half time, all underage folks have to leave the Banquet and those uncles....see also saliva drooling....

Go different ballrooms also good to see/look at what they have to offer for future references. Of course budget also come into play for choosing... -

Just came back from a wedding banquet 2 days ago, so many pple and then i saw Ch 8 acter leh, i think his name (i got it from the star award yesterday) is Chor Meng and i was sitting in a table next to him u know, i got an autograph somemore ah. now im trying to put the pic here, wait and see

If you were to ask me, of coz I'll recommend Swissotel. In terms of service, they have a special concierge to cater to all your requests. Co-ordinates everything for you including checking of hotel room.
As for food, I think it tastes better than Ritz. -
I've been holding seminars (small to large scale) ard hotels. I prefer Pan Pac as they have good chef, great services and with the new look ballroom... they simply look superb...
Marriott has good high-class look and nice wedding card designs.... food and service is so-so only.
Ritz-Carlton is good overall with big name chef from Hong Kong but not value-for-money...
Swissotel has good service but ambience and food is average.
The above is just my personal opinion.

had an event at M Hotel not long ago........
very good service......from the manager to the waiter and waitress.....
but tt place not quite suitable for wedding.....
