Hi guys,
Im new here...looking for some advice from the expert diners here. Did my homework on the net looking for new asia bar's dress code, menu and price list etc...but kinda ended up with nothing concrete.
Thinking of going there with my gf on xmas for dinner. Can anyone share some info on New asia bar to me? Thanks a million!

went there a couple of times for a drink..... erm.....in jeans n tshirt.... so i guess casual wear should be enuff.... ambience very nice....can see bugis, marina sq etc from window seats.... probably can see the orchard celebration ....
not sure abt the xmas events there.... -
me no go there, oni go there for drinks and chillout and the view.....
the doughnuts thingy not bad
drinks are quite standard lah....beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails.........
dress code ah....think they are not bery strict on that
i was there in dress and heels but i saw china tourists in jeans and slippers slurping singapore sling
weekdays no cover...jus walk in and find seat urself
weekends i think got cover charge....... -

Well ambience is great, nice view from the window! I recommend Margarita ice , Popcorn Shrimp (My Favourite), Magherita pizza, Flatbread is not that nice, Bbq is so so but abit expensive depending on what you order. Christmas they probably have some special event may be sudjected to a cover charge. I ever went there with 3/4 pants, shirt & of coz my favourite sneaker...hehehe

okie...so there isn't really any dress code...
but i would really love it if someone can tell me where to find out more over the net...particularly their christmas package and price range.

My suggestion is not to go there for Xmas eve function. Cover tix is $45/pax and no place to sit cos it'll become a club on Eve and Christmas day.

Uhh... are you dining at Equinox or NAB?
The Equinox website has a list of festive promotions.
Dress smart casual will do. -

No reservations allowed for New Asia Bar. It's on a first come first serve basis. True, your have to book early for Equinox and Jaan. To have dinner there on that day, prepare about $450. Think it's $188+++ per pax. (Last year's information)
But I wouldn't recommend going there on X'mas. Go there on normal days and you'll get 50% off your drinks before 9pm!!! -

I like their speciality - Equinox
It's a blue colour cocktail served in a tilted highball glass. Not very strong but it's their 'chao1 pai2 jiu3'. -
