Ice cream for less than $2

  Nowadays, ice-cream from the established outlets (Swensons, Häagen Das, Anderson's, etc) is so expensive...it seems the minimum is $2-something.
  
  Apart from buying from school/provision shops/Walls, Magnolia, etc/supermarket, are there places which sell ice-cream/sorbet/frozen yoghurt for less than $2 a scoop/cup?

  hey what do u expect? that they charge you less than 4 bucks for a scoop of super premium ice cream? anyways, its worth it to pay more for the good stuff..cause crap like magnolia and walls actually taste like foamy syrup when u stick'em into your mouth.

  Go to those icecream factory to get cheap icecream. I remember buying those cone type of icecream for 20cents(few years back).
  
  Some company canteen icecream also cheap, cone type for 50cents also...

  Those neighbourhood ice-cream man...seems that they are re-emerging again.
  I like ice-cream in between biscult type. Maybe unique way of eating ice-cream lah. Only they sell them. Think now is $1.

  Pasir Ris park, look for the white van with the blue umbrella on sat and sun. Amt given was alot abt full cup untill the brim for $1 only,flavour is all like durian strawberry etc.

  Allow me to recommend @ Daimaru B1 got a shop call "Gelato". The ice cream here is freshly made..the most 1-day old only.. try the durian & the green tea.. mostly made from Polka ingredients..
  
  the price is Single cup -$3, bt double is $4.. so ard 1 scoop for $2 if u buy double..
  
  Really very nice...try it folks.. you wun regret..

  Sounds familiar. Think there's one at Bugis Junction, beside Mos burger if i'm not wrong.

  try the traffic lights outside takashimaya or paragon, mostly will have uncles stationing there with bike.
