Can anyone advise on where for delicious n reasonable price of Seafood Buffet or International Buffet

hmmm.. if u dun mind to be sweaty... Turf city got those steamboat buffet like in marina south.. bt here is better.. lots of seafood.. any budget u have to stay within??

So far i think the best buffet i've come across that fits ur budget has gotta be the one at swissotel merchant court..
think it's $25+++ if i remember correctly, got crayfish, scallops, sashimi and not to mention, their famous durian dessert.
But if u're looking for oysters then u'll be disappointed
Another thing.. if u plan to go there, must remember to book very early in advance, esp if u're going in a big group.. -

vienna is $20-$30+
depending on weekday/weekend/dinner/lunch
got teppanyaki, international buffet, desserts.....
oysters (raw and baked), fresh prawns, scallops, lobster salad, mini buddha jump over the wall, sushi, etc..... -

I think another place to consider might be kublai khan, 4th level @Parkmall.. $28++ i think.. Got oyster, chilli crab and stuff + a section where u choose the food u want while raw and they'll cook it for u on a big metal drum, mongolian style.
Very seedy and ulu looking from the outside though.. foodwise not too bad lar, for the price. -

Heh, if budget's not really a concern the best place for buffet is Shangri-La hotel..
The selection is superb, with lobsters, crayfish, giant prawns, crab, oysters, jap food... essentially everything u can think of.
It's very ex though, adds up to around 80 bucks per person (the last time i went was almost 2 yrs ago). Perfect for special occasions like anniversaries or if u wanna impress.. -

TV ad shows tat it is very good but look from outside it look like very small lei...

go to Sakura at Toa Payoh....max $26 for sunday dinner...tax included liao.
International stuffs, got lots of nice sashimi, sushi, teppanyaki, tim sum....many many.
Seafood wise also got quite a few...but of course it is an intl buffet la. -
Vienna is over-rated.
Sampled the food there recently and found it very normal.
Admittedly that while they have a generous serving of crayfish, crabs, sashimi & lovely soups, their teppanyakki is poor by comparisons, their desert variety is very limited and never sufficient.
Ice cream was finished and the captain said there 'wasn't anymore refills'. Same for the blueberry cheesecake. Funny i tot this was a buffet style dine-in.
They twice got my teppanyakki order wrong even with the labelling system in place and for an 'internationally-named' restaurant, had great difficulty understanding my England.
Also noticed that almost all the waiters and cooks were Chinese nationals. Makes you wonder why use the name 'Vienna'.
Overall, out of 10, i rate it a 5.5
