Yoz, any good and cheap sushi buffer in singapore?
less than $30 per person?
last time got the maru maru sushi at marina..very cheap ..but it close liao..
so looking for some recommentation.. thanks -
Sakae sushi high tea hours, fake a student pass to get student rates.
But frankly I find their quality *barf*. -
Hoi Jin restuarant, along Robinson road, i think its about $28++, i cant recall exactly. Its in the CBD area by the road, with 2 BIG japanese lanterns at the entrance.

but oni wheelock, heeren and bugis branches worth going.....
u can oso try Gapz @ Pacific Plaza.....dim sum and sushi buffet..... -

sakae`s standard is getting lower and lower. and its v ex considering that they do not offer 4.90 plates for their buffet
try suki sushi at CCK lot one. the food there is much better and for student, just pay 19.90 nett price and u get sashimi, sushi and everything on the menu (except for the ramen and desserts). also, the service there is good. (: i tink sakae at CCK LOT ONE is gonna bust soon, with suki there. -
holland village "raku" got sushi buffet for lunch only @ $25+++.
i forgot to mentioned that the 2 place i suggested sushi are handpress, not machine made. So the quality is a huge different.

When i tasted handpress sushi, i never touch machine made sushi again

well if u are just referring to the same range of sushis and sashimis...like salmon, tuna, swordtail etc...den go to Sakura Buffet Rest at Toa Payoh Blk 190....it has one at Tampines SAFRA too.
max cost is $26 incl tax per pax on a sunday dinner. and got lots of teppanyaki, tempura, simple local food fare, tim sum, ebi fry....quite localized and good value. its the same co under Suki grp of restaurants. -

sakae one,ask them come count the plate, must wait for them..
i heard theres one rest at mirama hotal at outram road having international buffer. 28++ per person.. anyone went before? -

Ikoi Japanese Restaurant offers a great variety and a wide selection from a la carte menu. Renowned for its fantastic value-for-money daily buffet.

My babe brought me to one of her recommended list of places to eat and I must say this was one of the first which I have to give her a thumbs up on! The dinner is a la carte buffet style priced at $30+++ all you can eat sashimi plus all the cook food you can imagine!
Here's a picture of the 'bonus' soup, we call it bonus, because you can't really order it, you can only 'hope' they serve it to you... There's also another 'bonus' item which is the japanese clear egg soup... which is quite tasty!

Price: $$ Value for money: If you eat 5 orders of sashimi plates by yourself, 5 out of 5!
Food: 3.5 out of 5 (Value for money!)
Service: 2.5 out of 5 (Service can be improved...) -

always go to the SAFRA one when i'm back in s'pore.
think quite worth it, just don't expect any ambience; it's very noisy. but always eat till belly belly shiok. -
there is a better value buffet than the mirama hotel one.
It is at king archade building along bukit timah plaza.
I will not go to mirama hotel again unless i am on the way to somewhere after meal. -
