I second that suggestion Not trying to be stingy or anything, but cooking yourself could save you some cash for a bigger present. Plus it shows your sincerity, even though your cooking might not be good. But i would bet my last quater that no partner would ever comment that their opposite's cooking suck. Esp on V day. (even if they did, they probably did it in jest)
