Ok. Despite many ppl advice on telling me not to go there for dinner, I still went ahead because I wasnt paying for the dinner anyway

The first thing I noticed when I stepped in the restaurant,after my friend paid $198, was the repugnant smell of oil and cooked food wafting in the air.
I also noticed that the sushi table was position in such a way that the sushis were facing the main entrance where people walk past by. So I went to my table with my friends and we started helping ourselves to the raw food.(

Btw, the food wasnt pre cooked in anyway) Beside my table was the fried chicken drumlets station. I looked at that section and noticed that french fries and chicken wings were not available(popular items). It seem like ages b4 the bell finally rung to announced that a new batch of french fries and wings were out. I had no choice but to lift my butt out of the chair and grabbed a bowl to start pilling it with drumlets b4 it ran out of stock. I regretted taking 20 pieces of it the moment I took a first bite of the drumlet. It was super salty.

I requested for unsalted fries and was surprised that the kitchen acceded to my request. Seoul garden is indeed deserving of the Service excellence award

I must applaud the restaurant for its wonderful design of the stove. The stove was designed in such a way that whenever a piece of uncooked food was placed in the stove, the juices would ultimately sputter in your face.(-1 point) They should have at least position the stove deeper into the table and not so close to the surface. The peach tea was also very sweet. The only way to dilute it was to add lots of ice. I also noticed that every time I walked past the sushi table, I only saw one piece of Unagi sushi lying on the platter. Coincidence? i dont think so. SO I questioned the manager about the lack of unagi sushi. She said it was most probably out of stock but would check on it. I then asked her whether It was possible to just serve me sushi without the rice from the kitchen. She said she could not do it as sushi is supposed to be served with rice. I told her that Im not interested in eating the rice. So she recommended that I take the sushi, eat the fish, and dump the rice on the plate. She assured me the staff would clear it

I find that a waste of food.

And the brand of Ice cream served was.....Kings Ice cream

(U can tell its that brand from the softness of it and the somewhat watery taste of it). To summarise my dining experience, The food is either too sweet or too salty. The quality of air in that restaurant will leave you craving for the outside air of the PIE. A truly unique dining experience indeed

What looks good on the outside may not taste as good on the inside

Food 5.5/10
Service 9/10(considering that the poor waiter acceded to so many of my special request with a smile

)
Ambience 5.5/10
