Akashi Japanese Restuarant. Their rice quite power, i can take at least 2 bowls.
. There are 3 outlets for this restuarant: one at Tanglin shopping centre and the other at b2 Paragon, and at citylink, comparitively, Paragon one nicer. -

oni the sushi spread at the back worth mentioning...
other things not impressive......the tempura and soft shell crab quite miserable.....
the paper steamboat (kaninabe) oso so-so nia.....
still can go lah, but dun have too high expectations..... -
i go there to whack the raw fish, hahahaha!
other choices of food will make me full quickly. -
International Building, 2nd floor ... very good jap restaurant there, but i forgot the name, it's the old maru2 from marina.
Can oso try Kuriya, it's at the building beside Lido. Their seasonal menu + set menu are good... the 50+ sets are a good choice if you r not sure wat u want ... but normally need to order 2 portions. -

Good Authentic Korean Restaurant at Telok Ayer St, called Nu Bom, small place, think its owned by a korean family.... fantastic chicken ginseng soup and claypot rice.... and also spring onion omelette... think its the soup that's most expensive, but the rest are very reasonable..

i buy sushi, sashimi from cold storage Takashimaya and eat at home, and down with sake i buy from the supermarket.
once in a while i wd go to Sakura, Tampines SAFRA and pig out w frens.
that is when I was in Sinagpore. -
