well its interesting concept of the restaurant and had a nice cheesecake with my friend.
when my st louis ribs arrived, it was really a big portion tat i have to tapao back. but the ribs dun taste fresh (got some funny taste) and got so much sweet chilli sauce on it...reminds me of ramly burger meat laden with sweet sauce.
agree that most of their foods are fried...but hope to try their soft shell crab one day.
Oh no, dun try the ribs.. The St Louis ribs is way too sweet, i was never able to finish it even though i can usually eat quite alot.
I tried the Rodeo ribs last time round and it was even worse.. i guess it was because it does not have the sweet sauce to distract u from the texture of the ribs. It was very dry, and very tough.. You can actually see the individual meat fibres, hard and dry like wire. I think cartel badly needs more quality control in the kitchen.
The only thing i find worth eating is the pork chop, and the chicken cutlet (which is definitely not for the health conscious!).
