Location: Stamford building, very near to capital building

3) At suntec fountain n top fl of Ngee Ann City. trying to rem the name..... -
cool. taka i presume is the commercial building right? all the food there. i went there, but couldn't find it. didn't know it was at 3rd floor. i normally go basement

I posted in another thread about the best japanese curry rice that I know of is in
Liang Court (ex-Daimaru). In the basement, Meidi-ya supermarket, there is this
stall called Romantic Kobe and serves tonkatsu, curry rice, ebi, teriyaki chicken
etc, etc.
Bar style dining and so the prices are between $7 to $9. Many Japanese
customers and so must have some standard.
Someone, please try and let me know how ? -

The place referred to above I think got branch @ Taka basement, behind the foodcourt. imo it's better if not at least more vfm than tonkichi, the restaurant at 3(?) floor which serves curry rice + tonkatsu etc.

Just tried the pork katsu with beef curry --- outstanding man . Only problem is that they don't have that many seats and had to wait about 10 minutes for my seat. Good reccomendation - Thanks ds

Don't really like the Liang Court japanese curry. I like Curry Favor's Japanese Curry, the Katsu is the best I have eaten and they also have stewed curry if you are not a fried stuffs lover.

Romantic Kob e serves Japanese curry imported from Japan as they are a franchise and are required to maintain the same standard everyday.
Another setback is that Curry favor is very expensive. Minimum price is $12.90 upwards. Went there with 3 others and spent close to $90 bucks...cannot afford for lunch on a regular basis. -

can buy from most supermarkets like NTUC, Cold Storage etc....
Normally for my curry I'll just dump carrots, cubes of meat, golden mushrooms, maybe some potato.... -
