All in all, i feel its quite value-for-money, but if u're looking for oysters or steamed prawns then u'll be disappointed..
I haven't been to Vienna before.. Can anyone describe the spread over at Vienna? I've read some negative comments about Vienna in this forum though. -

Ellenborough spread is good. Their duck is nice as well. The only thing I don't like about the place is that it is always jammed packed with people especially on weekends and they try to squeeze in so many tables that there is hardly any space to move. i tink both got their own goods...go 2 vienna if u got malay frens coz it's halal...
the ambience of ellenborough is better....i luv the durain desert...... -
i tried merchant court and only liked the durian dessert. the salmon sashimi was not very well cut and tastes different...even the soy sauce too. but after that i kept drinking a lot of water....
i have not been to vienna but my dad says its average.
i recc that u go to sakura at toa payoh....food is quite good and cheap...tho noisy...
if u got more $, can try pariss buffet at marina sq...if u like oysters, sharks fins...
i used to patronize plaza park royal cafe also....got soft shell crab. the sashimi chef will cut your desired amt of sashimi...esp during CNY period, their chinese dishes and yusheng are very nice.
