  Newton = Once a great place, now standard dropped.
  
  Chomp Chomp = Still a good place to go, but quite unhealthy if go too often.

  Chomp Chomp is @ Serangoon Garden Way... next to the Roundabout. There happening one. Food better and cheaper den Newton. the stingRay... much more better den Newton.
  Plus... Newton, dam ex. and poor carpark attendants always work night shift...
  
  MRT... will never reach there. If u drive... easy... if u take bus... i tink its 136.
  
  and for your info, serangoon is much much diff place den east coast. heehee!! duno how to get there... call cab laaa!

  hmm.. how to go there by mrt or bus arh?.. can someone tell me how to go to chomp X2 ? i thought newton was a godly place.. seems like theres a place better than newton!!

  Buses, 136, 315, 317, 73, 76. Theres only 1 bus stop there, leaving or going.

  I just came back from Newton.. ate Kang Kong, Hokkien Mee, Stringray, baby Sotong, Satay... Very nice leh!!! Who say better than Chomp Chomp??? Think is the same la.. just depends on which stall u order from...

  chomp-chomp any time better than newton circus. food cheap and good. more importantly, no rip-off fm stall owners. i guess only those staying around north-east area is familiar wif chomp-chomp. those staying outside NE like jurong, woodlands etc wud be wondering where it is. anyway serangoon garden is like a town by itself like holland village. got everything there, wet market, ntuc, pubs, banks, chomp-chomp etc. for those of u who hv never been there, go and see for yrself.

  when you're there, if you feel that you don't want to squeeze with the crowd & can't stand the "smokey" environment, head over to the market hawker centre nearby... recommendations there include duck rice, laksa, japanese rice sets, grass jelly desserts etc...

  Prefer newton circle. More comfortable and airy. Price actually hor about same as chomp chomp, unless if you are angmoh lah

  I think go bangkok lagi better. Today Tigerair advertise one way less than $10. Plus all the taxes should be less than $130. Can go cheap cheap shopping also.
