  Use oliver oil as your sauce. Parsley, salt and some other meat or spcies.

  mM...thx thx..1 i come up myself is... using black pepper sauce, those made already liao de.. then stir it in hot pan den add meat to it.. finally using some rose mary leaf

  I tried cooking mushroom cream pasta. But duno why cant get the taste right. Duno is it bcos of the mushroom or the mushroom cream. Any idea which brand/type of mushroom tastes best?

  cooking shows always show the chefs using those italian mushrooms like porcini or whatever, that probably gives it the supposed authentic taste. hope that helps.

  Dun Use Bottled sauces...
  
  it ll taste all the same .. those pastas...
  
  try using fresh tomatos..
  1. u score a "X" tru its skin
  2. Put it in hot water till skin wrinkles
  3. wash over cold water to remove skin
  4. Remove the insides: seeds, etc...
  5. then u dice all the tomatoes u have..
  
  now...
  
  all u gotta do is to
  sautee all the spices like onion and garlic with olive oil...
  Throw in the tomatoes...
  add pepper and salt to taste...
  most importantly add sugar to neutralize the acidity of tomato...
  and cook till boil first
  den let it simmer under low fire to break it down into a paste...
  
  u ll like it..

  but I dun like tomato sauce......i find it yucks..i prefer white sauce/cream..

  cream sauce is kinda tough for me to make.. normally..if i am lazy..i just open a can of campbell soup and boil it before adding chicken inside and serve with my pasta...not bad neither..

  my own concoction. I used to do this during my student days overseas instead of instant noodles. Very simple, cheap, fast and instant ...
  1) boil pasta twist
  2) mix twist with canned tuna chunk/bits(with oil), mayonaise & ketchup.
  3) sliced hard boiled egg and pepper. hmmmmm...

  well, if u use basil n oregano spices, ur pasta sure taste nice n authentic.
