Vienna or Paris?

For buffet, which do u guys prefer? Vienna at united square or paris from marina square/TM?

I tried vienna at united square.
My friends and i were very disappointed with the quality of the food there. Altho the variety was very big, the raw food such as sashimi and oysters were not fresh. The soups were mediocre at best and that was the best thing about the food that day.
Overall i felt that it was expensive and lousy. -

pariss is ok. but they increased the price soon after opening. the food is reasonable. i like the fish, beef and lamb.

and the last time i went was last last year....
another cheaper alternative is Sakura
about the same kinda food..... -
How's the prices like at sakura? comparable to vienna?

Pariss is about $50 total per person on Sat evening, the food variety is first class.. lots of exotic stuff (like the hairy crab, crocodile meat soup and lobster) that u'll probably not get to try elsewhere, at least not at this price range.
But tastewise, its really not impressive lor... Been there once, don't think i'll go back there again.. that place got novelty value only. unless they have a 50% discount or something.

who say paris nice ? TM one SUX , the oyster not fresh tasted 5 all SUX , den the Food CMI seriously , sukura i tried at parkway better den paris service wise of cos is paris food wise i can say NONE .. trying shangri hotel soon

Shangri-La's buffet dinner is first class... both in terms of variety and quality. Last time i went they even have a seafood section outdoors where they'll bbq the lobsters (big ones mind you, not the tiny ones in Pariss) and crabs and crayfish for u.. unlimited portions.
Only drawback is its price. Which its customers don't seem to mind... it was very packed when i last went. With Bentleys, Rolls-Royces and Ferraris parked outside.. -
I heard someone had diarrhoeas after eating vienna's osyter. Did anyone hv the same problem?
Gosh...seems like both vienna & paris sux from the comments I gathered on this forum!

the best buffet is at shangrila hotel cafe also about $50 per pax but really worthwhile the money
