Anyone been to Olive Tree at Intercontinental?
Went last nite bcos of the one-for-one promotion from UOB credit cards... and only realised it cost $52+++ pax for the buffet dinner. That is more expensive than Hyatt's Straits Kitchen and possibly its Mezzanine! For meditaranean food? and the spread didnt even come close!
felt ripped off... did they increase the price bcos the promotion? -

how muchis the hyatt's strait kitchen? their is local food only right? -
Straits Kitchen is $38+++. yes, local food, but there are more variety and most are really delicious. There are expensive stuff too like giant prawns, crabs, mussels, so not totally cheapo hawker fare!
probably meditaranean is not my cup of tea, so felt $52+++ is really ex. can't imagine if it is not one-for-one... -
hw to rip off? one for one likely to be DBS creditcard? surely price is printed on the brochure liaoz.

Is not ur cup of tea but i know it is a few people cup of tea and they find it worth it and have been going back a couple of time...to each his own -

there is no brochure -- no price shown even at the front of the restuarant or the menu (which is all ala-carte) and when we went in, there is no menu, cos everything is buffet... and i forgot to ask when i called to make reservations.
