anyone tried my chippy before?
(i only know there's one outlet at Far East Level1 - not sure if they have other branches)
I just tried their chessy sausage...is dipped in mashed potato...very tasty...(i wanted to get shinlin XL chicken but the Q is too long)
they have other snacks like fried mars bar (the chocolate), and i think some special chicken and battered fish...
wanna get some review before i purposely go down again to try. -
the fish and chips and cheesy curry chicken were pretty good. and they play nice british music.

Wonder why the chocolate does not melt and if its deep-fried than double YUCK!

chocolate is not bad for you.. too much chocolate is bad for you.. there are antioxidants that are good for you in chocolate.. i will explain more if you wanna know more.. or else i will just shut up before someone complains about my lectures

Friday13 like you, I was once Shinlin's customer until Chippy opens. I bought their cheese sausage as the other alternative too to XXL chicken because the quene was so long and the worst part was that it was not even moving!! I didnt mind the extra few cents. It is the best cheese sausage I have ever eaten in town. The Plaza Singapura and Marche's are no where near to tasty compare to Chippy's. Its so juicy and the cheese squirts out with every bite! The mashed potato is so soft and fluffy as though it is hand-beaten. I love the sauce. I can drink it like soup! I know this sound gross...
I tried everything on their menu and all are good and fantastic. Very very tasty, not the MSG way like Shinlin (after Shinlin's food, you need to drown yourself with barrel of water!) Very very worth it too for the price!
Beer battered fish for more than 12 pieces and beer battered chips all @ $4+. Goes very well with mayonniase and ketchup. I love it!!
Fried mars bar is so sinful. The melted chocolate and ice cream and chocolate syrup, they are so sweet and heavenly, I can die for it and work out till I die just to eat it every week!
Their calamari are hand-made. Pretty tasty but slightly salty. Ask for less salt will be nice.
Chicken is very tasty and you eat chicken and not fried flour compared to Shinlin's chicken. Get more of their cheese dip with the chicken, very good!
They should have fried haggis! but thats probably too english for locals.
