fellow members, when u dine outside, is the service more impt to you or is the food more impt?
e.g. would u rather tolerate the bad attitude and poor service of an eatery which serves nice food? or would u rather go to a place with friendly staff but ordinary-tasting food?
for me, i choose the latter... at least i can eat with a nice ambience and mood...
can eat is already a fortune.
if you go all the way to a specific hawker, of course the food is more important. service is secondary. this is singapore culture!! business good, hawker rude.
but if you go to a reputable restaurant both are equally important.
i love to go to restaurants that are good and have bad waiters and waitresses.. usually when i complain to the manager.. i get on the house meals or discounts.. and thats pretty worth it.. about 90% of the time i encounter rude waiters/waitresses in high class restaurants.. the manager usually gives a discount or i get on the house meals
