those food columnists must keep writing mah, so no more grade one stalls, grade two three four five all come out if not they go out of job.Originally posted by dragg:frankly the food programmes and the papers are to be blamed.
it is common to see stalls with newspapers cuttings pasted at the front of stalls. many of these stalls serve mediocre food.
The Malaysian version is not white in color but light brown as they don't add the sweet sauce. Furthermore, they don't put cockles in it but just egg, prawn, cuttlefish and some fish cakes. Taste very much better than our local version. The only local one I like is at Ghim Moh market. Very much better than the one at Marine Parade market. Prepare for a long queue.Originally posted by Futechlogy:got white chao kuay teow ? any one try before ? think malaysia have it and my friend told me is the best .. better than our singapore original
mediacorp should stop broadcasting such programmes and come up with something else.Originally posted by TehJarVu:those food columnists must keep writing mah, so no more grade one stalls, grade two three four five all come out if not they go out of job.
They call it penang chao kuay teow .. nice! In a way, it's taste better than the normal one, which taste like kway teow with sweet soy sauce & pork oil.Originally posted by Futechlogy:got white chao kuay teow ? any one try before ? think malaysia have it and my friend told me is the best .. better than our singapore original
