pinic with red wine by the beach....view the evening stars.... pick a great spot and avoid mozzies...

i find the sakae sushi at sentosa a very nice place to relax for couple.
but romantic wise... hmmm.. maybe not so romantic. -
hmm... budget maybe within $200.
wat i have in mind is actually the kinda nice setting restaurants u c in ch8 dramas. but alwaz wonder where these places are... ?? -

2) new Italian resturant at Le Meridien Changi Village hotel level 8
3) Angus Steak house (I think it is the name but angus anyways ) on the top level of takashimaya department store.

hmm... poolside dinning sounds good. fullerton is a nice place too. considering one of these two.
i tried at this cafe at mount faber. not sure wat's e name. but e food isn't good n it's infested w mosquitoes. botanical gardens sound similar too. haha...
esplanade is good! but been there b4 liao. those who haven gone there shld try it some time.

I like this place a lot as this is new and you can even go for a romatic swim in a open air pool facing the eastern part of singapore.

oh... wat abt the crystal jade restaurant at paragon? the dark dark one. it looks quite cool. secretive n exclusive. haha... but how's e price n food?
btw, i did some search n wanted to add pics into the posting for all to see. (some of the places recommended here r really nice!), but i dunno how leh... any idea how i can do it?
found tt asiaone is also a pretty cool site. i did individual searches on e restaurants but seems like asiaone very frequently pops up to give a review. and they do have reviews that go according to the budget u have, listing out the choices available for u.
so far, i really love the la cantina, blu restaurant and pontini. but blu is a bit steep. beaufort sentosa is really really nice! but it's one of e most expensive i've seen amongst all so far. so tt, maybe leave it to another time (10th anni? haha...) -

i made a booking juz 2 days in advance n they reserved the 'best' seat in e house. it's a small balcony on the 9th floor with the best view and only 3 tables, offering pretty much privacy.
we had some seafood pizza n tried e singapore sling, both not bad. but the one i liked best was their tiramisu. i dunno why it's not on the dessert menu, but u can juz ask them for it. really good. yum yum... finally, it was a filling meal, n the bill was pretty much affordable.
so thanx to all who had recommended this place. *thumbs up!*
